Secluded Lenoir Cabin: 4 Mi to Dtwn Blowing Rock

Loved the wrap around porch and morning breakfast overlooking a very private view! The place is absolutely loaded with everything you could possibly think of. The Hosts are AMAZING! It's so quiet there --- but you have to be willing to accept the drive to get to it. You can't have both. lol. Loved the washer and dryer in the bathroom along with a folding table! Cupboards are well stocked with spices, oils, etc. Freezer even has ice for you and fridge has all condiments. There is an ABUNDANCE of towels, blankets, sheets, pillows, games, grill tools, soaps, cleaners---i can't think of everything!

The drive up was not daunting for my husband but I'm not a fan of gravel switchbacks and inclines. True that we did get a bit used to it by the fourth night but I still dreaded everytime we drove in and out. We have an AWD with off-road trans which helped but you car will be quite dusty for the whole stay so don't wash it. One other thing was that when you walked in there definitely is a musty smell but after about 10 minutes you don't smell it anymore. It helped alot by leaving the bathroom fan on while we were gone.

Wonderful cabin with a phenomenal view! The cabin was a great place to spend a few days. The view was amazing and we were the only building in sight. We loved sitting outside and watching the stars.

There wasn’t much to not like.

We loved everything about our stay.

I liked the proximity to Blowing Rock and surrounding areas. I liked the seclusion of the property. King bed was super comfortable.

The house needs a little TLC.
