Located in the beautiful John River Gorge, between Blowing Rock and Grandfather Mountain, GLOBE VALLEY RANCH is 'where the pavement ends' and your dream vacation begins. Our family began our dream of building quaint mountain cabins with the purchase of 117 acres on the Johns River in 2005. The Johns River and the Pisgah National Forest border our property and offer a beautiful, tranquil setting to be enjoyed in all seasons!
We proudly offer our brand new 1000 square ft loft over the timber framed barn with 2 bedrooms and one bath. The loft has a BBQ and play area. We rent on a daily or weekly basis. We invite you to listen and observe the abundant wildlife on our pristine acreage and enjoy total relaxation on the deck that overlooks 8 acres cleared on the Johns River. You may also enjoy a hike down by the Johns River to 'wet a hook'. Our vacation destination offers a wide range of outdoor activities for the adventure enthusiasts during spring, summer, fall or winter.

Globe Valley Ranch was truly spectacular. The hosts (Corrin) were super helpful and made our time there so special. The Johns River provided hours of entertainment for our families and dogs. There is amazing hiking nearby in the Pisgah National forest as well. The house itself was provisioned perfectly with everything we needed for our 4 night stay! Cant wait to return!!!

What a great cabin! They have thought of everything. Well stocked with fire wood, games for inside and outside, kitchen supplies, etc. Luckily we did plan for all our meals at the house because its a good 40 minutes to a normal grocery store or restaurant. Make sure to come in via hwy 90 not through boone/blowing rock on globe road as that is a 3 mile unpaved road through the mtns. About 25 minutes to fish on wilsons creek. Thanks for having us!

Wonderful place in the Johns river valley.Secure and secluded yet not too far from nearby activities (if you ever want to leave the property). Great river access on property. Clean comfortable loft above barn. We had a great time and will definitely be back in the future.
