Waterfront Home ~ 6 Mi to Olympic National Park!

We absolutely loved this home! We knew from the minute we pulled up it was owned by someone who deeply cared about the place. The driveway, sidewalk and patio were free of any debris. When we walked in, we saw a welcome note with some flowers and chocolates, then we saw our beautiful view of the water through a large picture window that was so clean we had to double check there was a window there. We loved the eclectic decor that was interesting but also very comfortable! We especially loved the beautiful light fixtures in the home. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with every thing we needed and the beds were very comfortable and cozy! The home has lots of books, DVDs and games if you were "trapped" inside. We were glad to have a rainy morning so we could relax with a cup of coffee and enjoy the view. The owner offered an early check in, checked in on us when we arrived and also checked in on us after a high wind warning in the area (she knew we were out and about that day). Location was excellent, very easy to get on the road to Crescent Lake, Hoh Rainforest and the beaches. I would absolutely stay here again and hope I get a chance to!

There is nothing we didn't like, nor do we have any suggestions for improvement.

Nice hosts

The view is spectacular and location was close to the park and waterfront. We were able to walk to ferry to Victoria BC for an enjoyable day trip. House had everything needed for a comfortable stay.

The view was spectacular, way better than we anticipated. What a beautiful picture window...and clean! We liked that everything that we could have possibly needed was in the house (such as grab bars in the bathroom, plenty of towels, chocolates and a welcoming note on arrival, everything worked in the house, patio setup, parking and many supplies were on hand). The house was centrally located for us going to Olympic National Park and to the ferry for Victoria. Our guest hosts, Emma and Scott, were fantastic. We communicated before and during our stay, assuring that everything was going well. Booking a stay from such a distance (Boston), they were very reassuring hosts. Far better communications than any other rental we have stayed at!
