The location was perfect for skiing at sugar mountain, and the property manager was very nice and friendly.
There were a lot of cobwebs in the corners of the house and there was a layer of dust on the surfaces, but other than that, the place was great. If you go in the winter, you DEFINITELY need tire chains or something because it was located at the top of a hill, and we ended up sliding down the hill into the bridge (which is halfway washed out from hurricane Helene) and scratched up the car.

This property had all the amenities of home. Overall we loved it.
Wi-if service was sporadic at best and we could hear the TV and people talking through walls.
Also rug in living area had loops of yarn that were loose and we tripped on them several times. The wooden Welcome sign on the mantle was broken (needs to be glued) and the upstairs bathroom sink was cracked.
Also stairs to access the property are steep.

This was a great cozy little condo in a beautiful place. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed a beautiful evening on the back deck surrounded by trees. We were very comfortable there and it is perfectly located to enjoy all of Banner Elk.
