CASA DO MAR

Prachtige locatie met adembenemend uitzicht vanuit de flat! Comfortabel bed. Zowel in slaapkamer als op benedenverdieping grote schuiframen met terras. Goed werkende airco in de slaapkamer.

Hier en daar voor verbetering vatbaar, enkele kleine ingrepen zouden de flat comfortabeler maken (rekjes of kastjes om één en ander te kunnen opbergen). Sommige dingen zijn kapot en zouden makkelijk hersteld kunnen worden (slot voordeur en terrasdeur, keukenkraan,…)

Beautiful sunset views and falling asleep to the sound of the ocean in a sleepy and peaceful Madeiran village was perfect for us. Property was clean and lockbox check in was easy and flexible. We were able to park in the village each day but worth being aware that parking is not outside the property if expecting this.

Could do with new cookware, the existing ones are very scratched but otherwise we found the kitchen had what we needed. Could benefit from dehumidifier, we came back wet from rain and due to Madeiras humidity we couldn't dry anything. The dehumidifier setting on air con/heater did not seem to help with this

This place is simply great. You get what you see in the pictures, which is just amazing for a relaxing stay.

This place is totally worth its price. And we'll definitely be back next time we're in western Madeira. What would make the stay better still: it would have been good to have a coffee machine, especially since this is one of the rare places in the country where finding a bica before 10am is not easy. Also, great to have a washing machine. Would help a lot if there would be detergent and a clothing rack.

Gostei da vista e da cama, era confortável. A disposição do espaço também está muito bem conseguida.

A limpeza dos utensílios da cozinha deixou muito a desejar. Uma das televisões não funcionava e após contacto com o anfitrião, este culpou outro hóspede sem arranjar solução. A torneira da pia da cozinha também está estragada. A maçaneta da porta de entrada está completamente estragada. Qualquer pessoa pode tirar e depois já não dá para voltar a abrir a porta. A base do guarda sol do deck está completamente destruída e não da para sustentar o guarda sol, o que deixou muito a desejar nos dias de sol que estavam. O anfitrião pediu que fizéssemos uma pintura das mãos na parede, mas a tinta estava estragada e só tinha uma luva. No geral a experiência foi boa, mas há muitos pormenores que deixam a desejar e torna-se evidente a falta de cuidado nesta casa.
