SUMMER GITE IN THE GROUNDS OF CHÂTEAU DE VILLARS EN PERIGORD

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour (malgé un temps un peu mitigé) dans la maison du parc du parc. Spacieuse et entourée de verdure. Bon équipement. Piscine superbe et grande (à noter qu'il y a peu de chambres au château ce qui permet de bien profiter de la piscine). Calme et cadre magnifiques. Nous n'avons pas testé la table d'hôte du château. Bien situé pour visiter le Périgord vert. NB : La maison pourrait nécessiter un petit rafraîchissement intérieur.

Un havre de paix , un super accueil , une adresse que nous recommandons très fortement pour ceux qui souhaitent concilier le calme tout en profitant des richesses du Périgord tant en termes d histoire que de gastronomie

Une maison idéale de plain pied avec deux espaces séparés chambres très confortables, spacieuses et belles salles de bain. Une terrasse immense, avec un parc très bien entretenu, le château et la piscine magnifiques ! Un petit regret que la prestation restauration soit fermée cette année.

We loved our stay at the Summer House, it was comfortable, not too hot at night and the covered verandah was great for eating/sitting. The pool was lovely and very welcome in the hot weather. The surrounding area is very beautiful and full of interesting places/villages to explore. On the downside the communication with the owner was very sparse, I had tried to contact them a few days before we arrived (phone and email) and got no reply, so when we turned up I was quite concerned and it didn’t appear they were expecting us, although it turned out ok. Another thing which surprised me was there appeared to be no information in the accommodation about the surrounding area or what to do about recycling/rubbish etc. Just a little info and welcome pack would be very much appreciated for future guests. However, putting that aside it is a very special place and worth a visit.
