Cottages at Stinson Beach

This property is one large home split into two distinct cottages. You get the entire property to yourself! With a top to bottom renovation in 2019, the property is styled and ready for good times. This rental is perfect for a few families or a group. The location can't be beat - park your car when you arrive and you won't need it till you leave. A 2 minute stroll to the sand and the village is out your front door. Sleep to the sound of the waves!

You will have the whole place to yourself! There are five bedrooms spread throughout the whole property. Two kitchens, four full bathrooms, five separate garden areas with outdoor dining, firepits, outdoor showers, and more. Brand new hot tub installed July 2020!

And -- the LOCATION! It's truly the best. Right in the village, one house from the beach, a short stroll to the trails of Mt Tam. The property is technically on the Dipsea Trail as it is one house away from the end of the famous Dipsea road run. The location is great for all ages.


We call the left side of the home the Steep Ravine. From the charming front garden, you'll enter into a large living room with an absurdly comfortable and large sectional couch and large screen smart TV. Off the living room are a brand new kitchen with stone counters and a dishwasher and disposal. Also off the living room is a charming dining room and full bath with shower. Heated tile floors in all the bathrooms! Upstairs there is another full bathroom with a bathtub and shower and three bedrooms. Bedroom 1 is the master, with a king bed and a gorgeous ocean view. Bedrooms 2 and 3 each have two twins (bedroom 2 can be rearranged to be one king). Please note that the third bedroom (two twins) is only accessed through the second bedroom (two twins or king), so keep that in mind for privacy concerns. In bedroom 2, there is a little built in sleeping nook, perfect for a not-too-tall child.

Outside of the kitchen is a private fenced in yard with a huge dining table under heat lamps. Sit and dine as you gaze up at Mt Tam. In this yard, there is also an outdoor shower and a set of couches around a fire pit.

Upstairs, there is a wrap-around deck, lovely for ocean and mountain viewing over coffee, wine, or cocoa.

We call the right side of the property the Double Dipsea. There is another great room with a very comfortable and large sectional couch and large dining table. A set of vintage lockers holds beach towels, beach blankets, and extra supplies. Off the living room is a brand new kitchen with stone counters and a dishwasher. At the other end of the great room is the bedroom with a queen bed (organic latex mattress and down bedding) and a small full bathroom with heated floors. Through the kitchen you'll find a large private garden with hot tub, fenced in garden with a fire pit and chairs for sun lounging and star gazing.

On the other side of the kitchen is the studio. Private and lovely, this one room space includes a bathroom with a clawfoot tub plus an outdoor shower in a private, fenced in garden. One king bed plus a very comfortable day bed allow for three guests comfortably. Sliding glass doors lead out to the garden where you can sip your coffee or wine and enjoy the sounds of the waves. Smart TV, too!

Throughout the property, we have all that you need -- beach towels, beach chairs, beach blankets, boogie boards, an outdoor shower, all down bedding, beach towels, organic mattresses, fully equipped kitchen, cozy blankets, fancy lotion.

There are four parking spots included with this rental, plus two sets of laundry machines. Please note that there is a 3 night minimum for this rental, and a week-long minimum during most summer weeks.
