About this house rental
Charming 1937 home in the walking district of downtown La Jolla. With a walking score of 98, our place has the beach (12 min walk), shops (5 min walk), San Diego’s best restaurants (5 min walk), and more-- just blocks away. The entire home is yours, but please respect the house rules and neighbors. It sleeps 5 between two bedrooms and a day bed in the living room. Free parking available, very small garage, 2 car driveway, and street parking. A large, enclosed yard surrounds the house on 3 sides.
Things to keep in mind since the house is quite old:
- Door handles and many light fixtures are original.
- Many of the lights are turned on at the source (no light switches).
- Bathroom access from the living room is through the second bedroom or through outside porch.

Terrific location within walking distance of restaurants, performing arts, stores, and beach of charming La Jolla. The house was very clean and pleasantly decorated, with a comfortable bed and modern kitchen.
Some traffic nearby during the day, but quiet at night. The private backyard and landscaping are a plus.
