Excellent stay, lovely property, fantastically communicative and helpful hosts.

Really clear instructions for arrival. Easy to find and get into property. Facilities were amazing, some of the very best we've had with an Air BnB property. Everything you could want was on hand and the decor was fantastic.

Overall, disappointing.

As solo female traveller, didn’t feel safe so I didn’t stay. Maybe due to ground floor, uncertain about neighbourhood and no chain lock or deadlock on the door. Bathroom is in desperate need of a total renovation. Had to check if wardrobe in bedroom was going to topple over as very unsteady. No coat hangers. Had to sign a rental agreement and leave a sizeable security deposit which they accidentally charged twice. Never experienced this requirement before in 10 weeks of travel across Europe. Not sure if there was wifi?

So clean, comfortable and stylish

Comfortable, clean and perfectly designed. I really appreciated having a full kitchen to cook food rather than getting takeaways. Very close to the city centre, the bus stop is 30 seconds minute from the property if you’re lazy (you can see it from the window.)

Only the neighbourhood. The corner seemed to be a gathering place but it wasn’t too loud. Local shops had to close early because the staff were lone working.

Disappointing experience

15-20 mins walk from the city centre/ railway station, frequent bus connection, well-equipped kitchen, wi-fi ok, quiet at night (though the neighbourhood rather neglected).

Dusty (furniture, plastic flowers and decorations), mouldy (between tiles in the bathroom, very poorly fixed - water going behind the tiles when taking a shower), dirty (parts of the kitchen worktop, sticky handles), neglected. Only after we had paid for the accommodation, did we learn we had to pay the deposit and scan my ID and give the details of my credit card. We were given a long list of don'ts. Unpleasant dealing with the rental agency. When we complained about the state of the flat, they didn't accept responsibility for anything, calling it standard wear and tear. Very disappointing.

Great value for money

Lovely apartment. Spotlessly clean. Fully equipped kitchen with everything you need including a tassimo machine & plenty of complimentry tea & coffee provisions to get u started. Comfy lounge & bed. The ability to stream TV & Netflix a bonus & WiFi signal was strong & fast. Convenient bus stop at end of road with buses running every 5mins for a 10min ride into the city centre.

White blinds in the bedroom meant I was woken by the sunrise every morning. Maybe a blackout blind or darker colour would be a better alternative.

Well equiped kitchen area

Unable to reach the cords on the blinds. No automatic light in the appartment hall. Ineffectual central light in the bedroom. Bathroom grouting needs serious attention.

Superb facility with relative easy access to the city by a short walk of public transport.

The location was a described around a 15/20 minute walk to the town centre or a 5 minute bus ride which could be caught 100m from the apartment.

Bedroom furniture was a little tired and could have done with a chair.

Bath room is dated and basin taps are old style - hot water and cold water- can’t get perfect temperature. No shower gel/shampoo/hair conditioner- bath room wall has a tile is falling off

Overall, I would still recommend this property, just a shame about the bed.

- Convenient location to hospital/town centre - Cosy, yet spacious and nice modern interior decor - Good shower/water pressure - Kitchen was well equipped, everything was clearly labelled and easy to find - Free parking

- Could be cleaner as we found some hair on the bed, sofa and bathroom - The bed was horrible, it dips in the middle and you can feel the springs! - Neighbours from the area were sometimes noisy - Faulty wardrobe door, bathtub felt fragile, toilet cistern was faulty as it kept trickling and the repairs in the bathroom were of bad quality, which affected the overall finishing of the property. These cons were a let down to the rest of the property as you could see a lot of thought had been put into make our stay more welcoming/enjoyable.

Clean, comfortable and convenient

Well equipped and a comfortable and clean place which is located very close to the city centre. We had our one year old with us and we felt we could not really relax and had to keep an eye on him constantly because all the drawers in the kitchen were accessible and there was a glass coffee table in the lounge. We were worried in case we broke anything or he hurt himself. In addition the night before we left. Two men arrived late at night, were loud entering the code to get into the building, slamming doors and smoking weed. Luckily we were leaving the next day. It's a great place to stay but maybe not if you have children.

Newcastle trip

An honest review with a few things which need approaching within the property, our stay was not effected by these issues but just to help the owners or other guests. Kitchen with white goods and coffee machine and all the equipment you would need. Plenty of storage and Nicely decorated. WiFi worked great. Easy travel into Newcastle, Good value.

Signs of wear and tear in the property, mattress was of poor quality with poor quality pillows. Bedroom furniture had seen better days. Upstairs property very load in the early hours, maybe carpet flooring to help for soundproofing. Communal areas not hoovered or cleaned in the four days we stayed.

Amazing and refreshing

The property was beautifully decorated inside. It has a warm, modern feel to it which made me and my wife feel really comfortable. The facilities provided in the apartment were of excellent standard too! The location was really good too! We were only a short walk away from the centre of Newcastle which made visiting attractions and planing days out easier!

There was some maintenance work going off which was quite loud at some points, but we understand this has to be done.

the property was not clean enough and the bathroom needs updating the sofa was absolutely disgusting I took the travel blanket out the car and used that on the couch. I hate to think what the stains were. I sent pics to the owners they said they would look into it but I’ve heard nothing back. I didn’t complain till about two weeks after I left. we had a family emergency so I couldn’t do it right away. loved Newcastle and I will go back again just not to that apartment

The location worked out well as it was very close to a bus stop that took you right into town which ran very frequently. You could also easily walk into town in about 15-20 minutes (uphill from town to the apt). There was plenty of space in the apartment. We had a slight problem arise and made contact with the property manager and they responded very quickly.

not clean, cold & checkout was at 10am

was a great space & well decorated

there were a number of large white stains on the sofa cushions & blanket on the bed which was disgusting. mugs & cutlery werent all clean & the place was freezing & took ages to get to above 18 C (we had jackets on for around 6 hours the first night) They provided an access code which was incorrect & no door number so took us an extra 30 mins to find & get inside. no shampoo no soap, coffee machine with only instant coffee? To top it all off there was a £125 deposit which hasn’t been repaid a week later & checkout was earlier than most places at 10am. wasn’t good tbh

Not recommended

The location was much further from the center than I realized, a good 15-20min walk,in a neighborhood with nothing to walk to. The "bath towels" provided were only slightly bigger than hand towels, One roll of toilet paper provided for a 10 night stay and no paper towels in the kitchen. The neighbors were blasting loud music on weekends. I was so uncomfortable I left early.

Beautiful decorated property and very comfortable.

I loved the interior decor of the property; it was very well equipped and the bed was very comfortable - too comfortable to get out of but sadly I had to work. I loved the old victorian building where the flat was in. It was very quiet at night times which was fantastic.
