About this apartment rental
Welcome to Mayan Princess 201 on Mustang Island! Located at 7477 State Highway 361, Port Aransas, TX 78373. This is a beautiful, completely renovated 2 bedroom/2 bath condominium with a contemporary feel, equipped with all the amenities. Gorgeous tile throughout. King bed in master bedroom with newly replaced mattress. Condo sleeps six total. There is a Queen bed in the guest bedroom and has en-suite access to the second bathroom. There is a Queen-size pull-out sofa bed in the living area which sleeps two more. Remodeled bathrooms, completely separate from bedrooms. This remodeled kitchen is equipped with full size appliances, granite countertops, pots and pans, cooking utensils, silverware, and dishware. Central air conditioning. Private entrance on the end of the building, accessed by steps from the parking lot. (Please note that while this gives you your own private entrance, we are not wheelchair accessible). Unit is very quiet and feels quite separate from rest of building.
We are in the middle of Mustang Island with miles of unspoiled dunes and beaches both to the north and to the south. Stores and restaurants are in both directions: Port Aransas to the North and North Padre Island to the South, both about 10 minutes by car. The Mayan Princess condos have 3 sparkling pools (one heated, and a jacuzzi) and you can grill/picnic out by the pools.

First of all, i would say that the property is nice and access to the beach is great.
On the cleaning of the property, I am not sure if thorough cleaning was done after the previous renter checked out because in the patio, there was still an unused tortilla left in the outside table/chair.
Also, there should be an extra comforter/blanket especially for the sofabed. My two teenager sons end-up just using the extra bed sheets as their blanket which is not always OK for most people. But since boys will be boys, they are fine with it.
Overall, the place is nice and fully furnished.

Did not like having to carry luggage and food and drinks up a ramp and two flights of stairs.
did not like the lack of privacy on the balcony..literally like setting in an outdoor community Dine in.
Did not like having to travel 10 miles to the nearest source of food and entertainment.
Did not like that the pool bar was not in service. we were actually told we could use it if we wanted to stock it and serve ourselves
We did not like that we had to haul our trash to the dumpster when we are being charged for cleaning services.
Suggestion: Invest in a Restaurant and Bar " On site"
Holiday in has more for way less
$$$$
