Good stop off point from ferry to Vendee, we didn't want to be driving in tge dark.

Easy to find. We were fortunate in that we had the whole house to ourselves. James and Elize very welcoming. Comfortable bed, nice shower, great breakfast.

Some milk to use with tea and coffee would have been appreciated.

Very nice bedroom with good bathroom and strong shower in a modern property. 3 bedrooms and a shared kitchen/lounge area. Everything was very clean and the host was pleasant and discreet.

It was a very comfortable stay where the bedroom and the bathroom were very spacious.

The owner/proprietor was very kind and helpful, and very accommodating. I arrived very early, and she let me place my things in my room while I went to explore the town center and she finished cleaning and preparing the room for my stay. The location is within easy walking distance to Avranches city center.

The temperatures in Avranches in early June were warmer than usual, and there was no air conditioning in the room. I can't imagine how it must be in mid-July. Also, there was no electrical outlet near the desk, so I couldn't plug my laptop to power to charge it. The furniture was arranged in an odd way for the sloped-ceiling room. The four guests in the other rooms rose earlier for breakfast and had eaten all of the charcuterie.

Magnificent room and facilities

This is a separate house in the owner’s property. The living space is shared with a couple of other guests. The room is terrific with lots of space and is spotlessly clean.Elise speaks perfect English and was very obliging and communicative.

Really good start to our tour. Thank you Elise and James.

Elise and James were friendly and welcoming hosts who did everything to make our stay enjoyable. Very comfortable bed and good size bedroom and bathroom, wonderful breakfast.

We did have difficulty finding it as no satnav sites that we used had it located accurately and it is in a one way system. I recommend any future guest to contact Elise or James and establish route in.

We loved the town and the hostess. She was really helpful. The room was lovely and spacious.

Not that it was a problem as so. We were a bit worried about disturbing the other guests when coming back or leaving. You could hear everything.

Perfect B&B

Clean, quiet and very comfortable B&B. Large rooms. Very helpful owner let me park my motorcycle in the secure garden. 10 min walk from the town centre. I can recommend Le Bistrot de Pierre for Dinner.

Light switch for my room was outside on the landing, which was a bit strange!

nice stay in the quiet city of Avranches

Very heartily and personal welcome. Even with a welcome-drink. Nice large room with a good and modern bathroom. Large living room which is shared with just one other room. Very quiet area just a few streets from the (not so big) centre of Avranches. Good (value for money) option if you want to visit Mont-Saint-Michel (if you have a car of course).

We arrived by car guided by our gps and we thought we were wrong because it's a residencial area and it didn't look like a hotel/apartment/accommodation at all. But do trust your gps, just ring the bell and start your pleasant stay. ;-)

Very clean room at the first floor. At the ground floor, living room with a tv and a kitchen that the guest can use (there is coffee and tea). Friendly welcome. We met some difficulties to find the house in the street. The center of the city is 10 minutes walking away. Very convenient.

Rather difficult to find. A detailed map from the church onwards would help. The breakfast, although copious, was really too sweet. Some eggs, ham cheese or smoked fish would be appreciated as well as brown bread

In una casa a pochi passi dal centro ci è stata assegnata una bella e spaziosa camera con grandi comodi letti, silenziosa nonostante affacciasse sulla sala comune dove viene allestita la colazione al mattino. Molto cortese il proprietario.

La colazione è piuttosto frugale se siete abituati agli standard dei grandi alberghi con offerta continentale. Però completa e accettabile.
