One of the best places we have stayed.

Lovely location, quiet and clean, excellent breakfast and cooking facilities/BBQ for your evening meal if you wish. Henri, the host was helpful, charming and nothing was too much trouble. As a bonus his English was very good. We stayed as a group of 3 couples with classic cars attending a rally near-by. A perfect base for our tour.

Home away from home in a beautiful rural setting

I loved the location. Quiet, rural and yet very near st Malo and le mont st Michel. The house itself was so lovely and welcoming, as was the proprietor. I do not have words to describe the peace and positively which radiates from this property! I will definitely be back! The breakfast was very adequate, the French toast delicious.

Adequate for a night

Swimming pool was good and we enjoyed playing table tennis. We appreciated hosts booking restaurant for the first evening.

When we arrived after a long and tiring journey it was clear from the notice on the door that we could not get to check in until 5pm, as previously advised. We were early by about three hours and we said hello to a guy cutting grass at what appeared to be the next door garden. So we headed off to find a bar for a coffee. After an hour we were tired so drove to the B&B car park. The same guy was around and suggested we drive off somewhere else but being shattered from long driving we slept in the car for about an hour. The chap we took for the neighbour came back to us at 5pm and said he would show us our room. Only then did we realise he was one of our hosts and lived in the adjoining property. We were annoyed he didn’t introduce himself at any point and despite us saying we were tired didn’t suggest we relaxed in the garden, never mind showing us to our rooms before 5pm. Our room was small and dark with the toilet separate from the bathroom in an odd layout. Breakfast was adequate. On the first morning the special flan was offered once we’d had our fill of croissants etc so we didn’t try any but on the second morning the special crepes were put in front of us when sat down. Everything was clean except on the second day when the knives and a cup were dirty; it appeared they had been used the night before and not washed properly but the hosts obviously didn’t check them. Also my cup was notably chipped both days.

The bed uncomfortable. The electric kettle to prepare tee or coffee - but without cups. Average breakfast. In a nutshell - what I appreciated the most was an excellent restaurant in a nearby village.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt in einer herrlichen ländlichen Gegend. Sehr gut gelegen, um Ausflüge in die Umgebung zu unternehmen, ca. 40 Min mit dem Fahrrad nach Mont St. Michel. Henri ist ein perfekter Gastgeber, sehr herzlicher Empfang und aufmerksame Betreuung.

Chouette endroit pour y passer du temps en famille! Propre, petite piscine chauffée, super acceuil et excellent petit déjeuner!! Billard et salon pour se détendre.

Chambre pas très grande mais c’est suffisant, salle de bain vieillissante avec débit dans la douche pas toujours nickel (alternance eau chaude/froide et changement de débit). Rien de rédhibitoire, loin de là, mais cela ne valait pas le prix que j’avais payé (un peu last minutes et haute saison, certes ;)). Alpaga sympa à voir, mais pas vrmt d’autres animaux.
