This charming home delivers modern farmhouse style and comfort, centrally located within walking distance to Austin's most beloved attractions. Featuring 4 Bedrooms (2 in the main house + converted attic & 1 in the detached guest house) + 2 bathrooms (1 in the main house & 1 in the guest house) and can sleep 10 guests. Stroll along to Zilker Park, Palmer Events Center, Auditorium Shores, Congress Bridge, SOCO district, South 1st for restaurants, nightlife and shopping. Enter Lady Bird Hike and Bike Trail across Barton Springs Rd., just through the lovely Butler Park complete with a splash pad for our warmer months. The common spaces are ideal for quaint conversation, enjoying friends and family. Renovated and functional kitchen, open to living area and dining provides all essentials. Lovely, new furnishings, cushy linens and cozy beds. Various patio/ deck offerings, outdoor dining and grill. Included guest quarters at the rear of the property presents a private space, bathroom and kitchenette with exquisite vintage appeal!

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay for a long weekend in ATX. The property was as advertised, well-maintained, convenient, and homey. We would stay here again.

Excellent location, facilities, and amenities. Walking distance to the park, close to Barton Springs.Beautiful home. Well decorated.Had a spacious backyard and several patio spaces. Nice landscaping. Safe parking.Perfect for an extended family get-together. We took a seven minute walk down to the auditorium shores, ate at restaurants in walking distance, watched the holiday fireworks.Close to sixth street and the capitol.Nice amenities. Plenty of lamp lighting. Paintings and books all around. The kitchen is well supplied but we only used the coffee maker. The family had fun playing with the party games like Apple-to-Apple in the living room. Nice tv in the living room. Had washer and dryer.Things to know:There is an additional rental damage insurance labeled trust and safety fee. It was briefly noted in the original description but I didn’t notice it until paying. Didn’t break the budget but was added to the bill. The bathroom cannot be accessed except through a bedroom.The showers are difficult for mobility impaired elderly. (We knew from previous comment so it was not an issue.)Shower head is high up, perfect for tall people but needed the step stool from the kitchen pantry to turn on the hand-shower.Mother-in-law suite’s toilet is close to bed. (We knew before so not an issue.)Wouldn’t let young one go up and down spiral stairs to attic, worried about slipping with socks on metal steps. Overall highly recommend. 5 stars. Perfect vacation.

Beautiful. Wonderful house. Unfortunately neither tub/shower was appropriate for a 94 year old and someone with mobility issues. Neither of us required special accommodation but both tubs were at least 3 feet tall to step into. And no grab bars. Pictures of bathroom showers not posted on website
