Our daughter stayed here for a placement for school. Susan took extra care of her and her needs. Susan and Paul allowed us to visit and stay in the suite. Susan went above and beyond to ensure comfort and cleanliness and was so attentive to our needs. I would recommend this home and host to anyone needing to stay in Nanaimo - long term or short term. Susan and Paul are fabulous hosts. Loved being able to park on the driveway and because my daughter was there for 5 weeks they bought a mini freezer for her to store her food. Above and beyond! Thank you for everything you did!

We spent most of our time out and about enjoying the area. However we found our Suite was spacious, clean and a great place to come back to and relax. The back yard and private patio was probably our favorite. Great place to end our day with a glass of wine and relax. We only met with Susan for a brief visit but she was very nice and willing to help make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed here for a week in July, and thoroughly enjoyed it! From the wonderful welcoming touches (wine, chocolate & snacks), to the elegant yet super comfortable decor, it surpassed our expectations! The bed was very comfortable, with lovely linens. The neighborhood is very quiet and close to ammenities, and to the Linley Valley trail system. The hosts are gracious and helpful. We have nothing but good things to say about this home away from home and would definitely stay again! Thank you Susan and Paul for a wonderful week!

This was in a gorgeous neighborhood, very clean and comfortable stay! Susan, Paul and Macy were very welcoming and kind. The bed is super comfortable and cozy! I loved all the little "extras" - small snacks, wine, petit chocolates, and popcorn. You have a mini fridge and a microwave. Full size bathroom, living room, and bedroom. I absolutely LOVED THE YARD. We had a great time at this lovely place as our first stop on our honeymoon. The place was spotlessly clean, very comfortable— soft bed, well set up living room, and convenient kitchenette. The barcalounger sofa gave us a great experience to lean back and watch a movie at night. We found everything we needed in this suite and Susan was very attentive and responsive as a host. Will surely recommend it.

We enjoyed the space, the decor, the gym, the private covered patio situated in the quiet private backyard. The neighborhood was nice and the walking paths were plentiful. The owner’s attention to detail (comfy bed, high end linens, plush towels, robes, small appliances to allow you to make your own meals) were appreciated. It was a super experience. This rental suite was not as described on the VRBO website. There is no kitchen in this suite although it advertised that it had one. There are appliances (microwave, hot plate, and toaster) on various tables, no kitchen sink, and the "coffee bar" was a Keurig on the end table beside the couch. Since there was no kitchen sink dishes must be washed in the bathroom sink. The noise from the owners upstairs was at times quite loud with footsteps, coughing, and talking. Many days the noise was as early as 6:30 a.m. and as late as 11 p.m. The most concerning undisclosed information regarding this rental suite was the narrow, concrete stairs (14) to get to the entrance. This would be very difficult for anyone with mobility issues and was dangerous when taking luggage down the stairs.
