About this cabin rental

Quiet, country cabin. Peaceful and a beautiful view of the landscape. Cozy. Queen bed and a single bed in the bedroom with a full size couch. Dining table, hide-a-bed with T.V. Full size kitchen and bathroom with walk-in shower. Close to some of the best fishing in the state at Stockton Lake and if you just want to fish in a pond you can enjoy that on our nearby farm. Friendly goats and a donkey called Nutmeg finish the country atmosphere.

The cabin itself was wonderful—clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. We really enjoyed our stay. The only downside was communication. We didn't receive the door code until we contacted the host the night before our arrival. I also asked for her phone number in case we had any problems. She provided the phone number but said she would not answer the phone if it was late at night. We decided to arrive early to make sure everything was in order. When we became lost on the way to the cabin, our call wasn't returned for about 30 minutes which is a long time when you're lost. Since the cabin is in a rural area, more timely communication during check-in would have made the experience much less stressful. Other than that, we had a very enjoyable stay.

This is a great place to stay country setting kinda reminded me of the old day like little house on the prairie we will be staying there agean this summer great people we had storms and they told us where to go so that was great.

Grandma's cabin was a great little spot to stay the night for our little expedition to Stockton Lake! We were able to pull our boat through and charge it up overnight for a tournament Sunday morning. If you need a place to stay for a fishing tournament on Stockton Lake this is a great place to stay.
