Cosy, clean and comfortable. Lovely views from the back bedroom. Good location for lands end and Minack theatre.
No milk in the fridge or body wash for the shower. Could have done with some more kindling for the log burner as very cold in January. But still good value for money.

The loft was spotlessly clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect just around the corner from the main High Street. Would definitely recommend the Journeyman Loft.
Wouldn't be suitable for people with walking problems as it was at the top of a steep hill with steps up to the door.

It had everything you could need. Fantastic kitchen facilities and even had a washing machine and dryer.

Lovely sized property that has everything you need. Clean and comfortable throughout.
Location spot on, right in the centre of town and yet just tucked quietly out the way

There was everything we needed in this quaint cottage and everything worked as it should. It was spotlessly clean. Car parking at the property was definitely a bonus. The location was amazing, right in the centre of lovely Skipton and yet so quiet. So much to see and do in the area. Would definitely recommend.

we like traditional quirky relaxed accommodation very quiet because it was set back from the Main Street, wood burning stove if you needed it but the central heating was very efficient, huge supa king bed. the bathroom was clean tidy & very warm a small enclosed bath with a 6 headed power shower from every direction which was an interesting refreshing experience.
negotiating, the long narrow very steep Back street to your parking space & having to reverse back out was a challenge we have a wide people carrier type car luckily my partner is a taxi driver & at is age has had plenty of practice, I have breathing problems so found it a bit of a struggle walking up there but great exercise! could do with a longer settee but probably not possible too get one up there!?

Location spot on for skipton area right in town center 2 minute walk.
Cleaner Louise was fantastic and helped us where she could with any questions
Even coming out to check central heating.
Property was clean.
Parking is tricky up a slope at back of property and more or less under the house next to garage very little space.
A number of Stone steps up to property difficult for elderly persons to use with safety.
Only central heating with a log burner ?
A log burner is ok if your used to using one? No other heating available ?
It could do with a electric heater to provide more heat its an old property which feels cold.
Ants on kitchen top in kitchen area not good not very nice on food you have out.
Ant powder in cupboard so we used this where we were able.
Duvet its self has seen better days needs a new one it was all clumped up in one area
Would say its very old one. Although covers clean.
No extra pillows or blankets in property only 2 thin covers not good when your cold in winter /
Spring time when weather is not warm.
And double bed was not double bed but 2 single beds pushed together.
Shower is climb up step into bath and back again ( no safety rail here ) and shower is ver old
And very unusual as in a number of sprays around the wall.
My husband used with difficulty advised me no too for safety.
Only washbasin in bathroom had faulty tap that takes all day to run hot water ( very slow run)
Although cold water is fine.

The home was very cozy and well kept, close to the centre and train station as well as the castle!
If there were any problems I was able to contact an assistant who was very helpful.
All around a very nice stay.

The house was extremely well-equipped. It was quite unusual, in having the kitchen and bathroom on a sort of middle-level. Comfy bed. A wonderful location, in Skipton but just a short drive away from the spectacular Dales.
I struggled a bit with the steps up to the property, which were quite steep (I'm an older person). It was good to have a parking space right outside, but it certainly wasn't easy to get out of - had to back down the steep hill a way before turning. This wouldn't stop me from coming again, though!
