Daspan House

We were so mesmerised by the property, its hospitality and the architecture.

This is a beautiful property in a quiet residential location only a few minutes' drive from the old town. The heritage features are a highlight, along with the elegant contemporary murals and lush gardens. The rooms are modern and spacious and the staff were all delightful.

This seems like a bizarre thing to mention, but the hotel corridors have no airconditioning. That would be fine during the cooler months but during my October visit it meant that my room was quite hot and stuffy unless you put the A/C on regularly.

The food was exceptional - every meal and drink we had was excellent. The staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to ensure that we go everything we needed. The property itself is beautiful - like an oasis in the middle of a busy city. Easily one of the best properties we have visited in Jodhpur.

No real complaints at all but perhaps the swimming pool could get some more protection from pigeons!

We loved everything about this property. It was exactly what we needed. It’s beautifully preserved and maintained. Incredibly well decorated, the room and bathroom are well thought out, the spaces around the rooms are very inviting to hang out at the property and the staff is very attentive, helpful and accommodating to requests. We didn’t take advantage of it but they offer to arrange many activities to discover the city and surroundings. Food and drinks were amazing, no need to leave the hotel! Great calm, quiet place away from the hustle of the city.

Only thing missing was a gym, which would have been the cherry on top! The other bit that could be improved is the intimacy privacy of the room we had with the main door noise insulation quite poor, letting noise from the corridor leaking into the bedroom.
