Wonderful location and the covered tents work really well in terms of ventilation while keeping all bugs out. Electricity in the tents too, amazing. Breakfast was really good. Other lovely hotels and places to hang out at walking distance.
This is not related to the Lodge but if you come to Watamu for the coral reef then don't - snorkling on the dead coral reef it very poor, despite the amazing surroundings and beach.

Gorgeous location - quiet, outdoorsy feel but with an excellent snack bar (which honestly is more of a restaurant). Beautiful places to sit, relax and star-gaze. Surrounding restaurants were good and easily accessible. Loved the pool. My tent was very comfortable and private.
I didn’t snorkel off the beach but I think at low tide it must be pretty good - instead I took boat trips from Turtle Bay
My bedside light kept being moved (if that’s the worst thing, then it must be a nice place!)

I had a fantastic stay in a tent at Bomba Kofi. It is such a beautiful place surrounded by trees and nature and right by Watamu's best beach. Lovely guests and restaurant. The perfect place for a relaxing beach break.

Everyone was really nice and friendly, great place to stay, location was alright too however we did struggle getting to it at first. The tent itself and area around was good.
We stayed for a night and unfortunately had a power cut that night until 8 the next morning , was very hot throughout the whole night, hardly fell asleep and couldn’t charge our phones as they were dead and had to be out by 8 the next morning, could have helped a lot if there was a generator or some sort of solar power systems.
