NEWLY renovated just minutes from Airport/Presque Isle!

Everything was great. Property was very clean, check in was easy. Located close to things.

Great place to stay! Lots of room for my husband and I, and our 2 kids. Very close to many restaurants and attractions. I am rating 4 stars only because of proximity to the road and at times it was difficult to pull in the driveway with traffic coming behind us. Would stay here again!

We had a great time staying here for a 4 day trip to Erie. House was clean and welcoming with coffee, candy, a couple waters when we came in. Easy to find everything we needed. There was also an infant/ toddler tub to use in the shower for our 1.5 year old and a pack N play. House is located very close to everything but still quiet and peaceful. We would recommend it and would stay here again!

The property was excellent however the people downstairs had a dog that cried and yapped whenever they were away and you can hear it through the floors.

Trip was my husband and I, our youngest son and his wife and two children. We had the best timeAnd lots of laughs. Fishing , shopping and the children’s museum were all partOf our trip. Already talking about next year

The property advertises part of the parking is a garage, then found out you're not allowed to use the garage it's only for the downstairs renters. I didn't notice the listing had a separate basement rental since VRBO advertises you get the whole home. I'll take responsibility for missing that note on the listing but there is literally no sound proofing between the upstairs and the basement. You can hear everything going on downstairs, the sup pump is very loud. The house is located directly off a busy road and surrounded by apartments so not very quiet at all. The main reason we rent a house instead of going to a hotel is the fact that there's a kitchen and every other rental we've stayed at the kitchen was stocked with the basics. This house literally only had salt and pepper other than cooking pots and pans. There was nothing else, no cooking oil, flour, sugar, not even aluminum foil. I definitely didn't go on vacation to stock someone else's house for them. The toilet handle broke off the first time we used the toilet. Now I will commend the host they were able to get this fixed very quickly and I appreciate that but having to stay at the house to let the handyman in and out was not something I bargained for on my vacation. Felt the host was a little too into our business, wanted to know when our plane arrived and when we'd be out of the house. There are check in and check out times for a reason. Won't be staying here again.

We spent 1.5 days here and felt like we were home. The newly remodeled family room was very cozy. I appreciated the binder left on the entrance table with all the things to do in town, tips, etc. Bedrooms are very nice. Big mirror in the master. The treats in the kitchen were a very nice gesture:) overall I would 100% stay here again if we are ever back in Erie.

It was our first time in Erie to visit family and I’m so glad we stayed at this house! It was very comfortable, clean and cozy! Elise is very responsive and sweet, will definitely stay there again. Location was great, close to everything. Highly recommended!

The layout of the house is open and spacious when entering. Kitchen is well appointed. Living area is tastefully decorated and Elise even added a little Christmas festivity with some decorations. Plenty of seating for family to visit. I would have given a five star rating but box spring and mattress in master bedroom fell inside the frame minutes after getting in bed. The box spring is balancing on frame instead of square in frame. I can only assume cleaning person moved frame off center when changing bedding. We recentered the box spring and were careful not to move around too much. Slept in second bedroom the next night. Mattress seemed worn and sagging on one side so spouse on other side of the bed was rolling “down hill” into me. Other than poor sleep quality I was pleased with the cleanliness of the house and the complimentary coffee pods as I had brought coffee and filters for regular coffee machine.

This place is very clean and had everything we needed. Would go back again.

The property was as advertised. Clean and beautiful. My daughter, 2 grand daughters, a great grand daughter, and I went to celebrate milestone birthdays. A day at the beach was just what we needed. The place was clean. Communication was great. It was close to everything we needed and we would 100% like to stay here again!

The house is small but sweet, perfect for our gathering of 5. We were close to stores, restaurants and recreational activities, we loved the lighthouses (3). Quick note: the house is located on a very busy road, best to back into the driveway so you can back out. The driveway is plenty long enough for 4 cars. The house sits back far enough from the road that you hear no road noise.

Enjoyed our visit. Great water pressure in kitchen and in bathroom. Great to have W/D for use during our stay. Comfortable furniture and bedding. Central location. The home is only nine minutes to the Tom Ridge Environmental Center / entrance to Presque Isle State Park, and close to grocery stores. Speed limits are so comfortable here. I think 45 to 55 was the highest MPH sign we saw. We haven’t heard anyone “lay on the horn” when the light changes (unlike in our city).

My husband and I were in town for our daughter’s PA State Wind Ensemble performance at the Warner Theater. Elise and Bob were wonderfully attentive hosts. Their home was clean and comfortable and bright and airy. The kitchen was well-stocked so we were all set! I highly recommend this home to everyone!

Second time we've stayed at elise's home. Everything was excellent. We'll definitely try to stay again in the fall on our next fishing trip If it's available. Thanks so much.

Would stay again

The house was clean and comfortable. It's about 10 minutes from downtown and just a few minutes from the state park and lake Erie. The host was good about getting back with us and giving us directions.

Our group stayed for 4 nights. Everything was provided right down to the dishwasher tabs and coffee pods. We did not need to purchase any "household" items. The kitchen was well equipped, beds we're comfortable and nice size bathroom. The location was convenient. The owner responded quickly I would recommend this house for anyone traveling through or staying in Erie.

This house is delightful! I chose it for the location, the bedrooms, and the comfortable size. The size allowed me to have my two sisters stay with me for the first few days, and I didn’t feel overwhelmed once they left. I felt very safe and secure in the location. Literally everything was provided for a move-in experience. That was SO appreciated! We bought a few foods, and we were done! The house was very clean, and checking in was a breeze. All needed information was provided in a very timely manner. Elise, our host, was always available and a pleasure to talk with. All in all, this house, it’s amenities, and it’s host made for a pleasant stay in Erie. I am so pleased I chose VRBO rather than a hotel, especially as a senior lady traveling alone. I will look to VRBO for future travel stays. Thank you.

The property sits on a main road in Erie that is just 5 minutes to Presque Isle, Waldemeer, and other local attractions like arcades & ice cream shops. The property sits back from the road, however, so the road noise is minimal. The property has smaller (but more than adequate) bedrooms, but the community areas are spacious and comfortable. Everything is very clean and well-maintained. My family consists of 5 children (including 3 teens) and we all had enough room to feel comfortable throughout our week's stay. We were able to shop at the local grocery store and utilize the crock pot for meals allowing us to save some cash and to enjoy our time. The owners were very easy to reach and answered questions quickly. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. After selecting many other properties over the years, we think we've found a winner and plan to use this property for local stays from now on.

Always a pleasure staying at Elise’s place as it has everything you need. So nice to have a 3 bedroom place for the kids to have their own bedroom. The location is perfect to get to everything Erie has to offer. Will continue to use Elise’s location when in need in Erie.

The house was easy to find, cute and clean. We didn’t do any cooking but the kitchen was well appointed, and there was ample linen and towels for our stay. The home location was very near to all the activities we enjoyed while we were in Erie.
