For our first time in Richards Bay, the location was great. It was close to everything we needed. The neighborhood felt very safe and tranquil. The hosts were very nice warm and friendly. Apartment was well stacked, it had everything we needed for an overnight stay.
The spiral staircase leading up to the apartment is quite narrow and steep, makes it a bit difficult to walk up if you're carrying luggage or other things. Richards bay can be quite hot and humid at times, would be a great idea to have aircons in all the rooms.
The TV was not a smart TV.
We also found a few belongings in separate cupboards of previous guests (a bottle of cologne and a bottle of lotion). A thorough clean would be a good idea after guests leave.
