The Carol Anne. This Victorian-era duplex is the perfect mix of Victorian and modern for all the comforts of home. Perfect for quick or extended trips. Location can't be beat: Walking distance to Drake University. Minutes by car to downtown, hospitals, Ingersoll district and proximity to I-235 gets you anywhere in the city. Off street parking/electronic locks make check-in a easy. 2 large bedrooms w/queen beds, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, laundry, closets, and more making it ideal for multiple guests!

The Carol Anne was a perfect place to stay. I was a solo traveler, however, this 1st floor home would be very comfortable for up to 4 persons. Very clean & had all the conveniences of home including washer/dryer. If the weather was a bit more pleasant, it would be nice to sit on the porch. If I come back to Des Moines, I will see if The Carol Anne would be available again.
