Private Hot Tub: Gatlinburg Cabin in the Clouds

The drive through the mountainside was very pretty and narrow, especially towards the cabin. Once I arrived, I was impressed by what this property provided. Both the interior and the exterior really have a feeling of seclusion offered that was hard to come by with other properties nearby. However, there was the convenience of being so close to Gatlinburg that it was never too daunting to leave the property. Sitting on the porch at night, you can see both the distant lights of Pigeon Forge while being to admire the beauty that only the Smokies can provide. My friends were especially impressed with the size of the interior, with there being two full size bathrooms and bedrooms. Overall, this property is exceptional for being able to balance everything one would look for in a cabin.

The only downside to the property is the space for parking is only really available one way for your car. However, this is not the fault of the property since there really can’t be anything done to alter the size of the parking since the terrain surrounding the property is rather steep.

The view was excellent and the Cabin is really nice. Really enjoyed sitting on the upper deck looking at the mountains and watching the sunsets. Had a Bear come visit the first night, luckily he was just passing through.

The Driveway is ok for pulling straight in, but to turn the vehicle around is really tight. The Flooring in the bottom floor is buckling up really bad and makes loud noises while walking on it. there is no way to be quiet while walking on it. The toaster only toasted on one side, the middle part is broken and the hot tub was cloudy. The front door key code and the lock box code that was given was wrong. had to call and get the proper codes.

The property was very clean, has a beautiful view, and we really enjoyed having the hot tub on the upper deck to experience all the views. There’s a little shower to rinse off outside for the hot tub and there is plenty of porch lighting. We liked having a living space both upstairs and downstairs as we were a 4 person group and each couple had their own living space. We also got lucky enough to see some bears!

The driveway is angled to make a sharp turn if you are coming up the hill and is difficult to make the turn if you are driving a larger truck. My husband had to pull up, back up cut it hard again to the left and if someone is staying at the first cabin “Autumn leaves” coming up the driveway it is very hard to get in and out of your cabin.
