Catalina Island Duplex - Steps to Beach & Pier!

Cute and clean but small. The owner let us Chen in early and check out late.

Location was superb! loved having a washer/dryer on the premises, beds were very comfy, 3 bedrooms/ 2 baths was super convenient. Walk to Vons, Starbucks and into town short and sweet - I would recommend not traveling on a Tues/Weds bc giant cruise ships come in and there was a ton of litter left on the beaches once they piled back onto the ships, tragic considering its a protected habitat.

ok so first things first - there is NO pool- I kinda figured this was not accurate in the description bc pools are not common on Catalina - but kids were bummed that this was not a true amenity. Also the neighboring house has a lot of people going in and out for some kind of work/ construction and it was quite loud - but they were all really nice. Final the house was left open but keys were no where to be found, apparently the cleaning lady had taken them - we weren't able to leave for a few hours until we received a key to lock up so we could walk into town.

it was close to the main shopping and restaurants and the beach

no air conditioning. a window unit would have been nice. on a main road so very noisy with the windows opened.
