Before I begin, some context: we were travelling as a family of five—my wife and I, our son and daughter-in-law, and our two-year-old grandson. We chose a two-bedroom suite with breakfast included and wanted somewhere with easy access to attractions and eateries within walking distance.
From the start, the experience was excellent. Communication with the staff via Booking.com was outstanding, with helpful advice on airport transfers and getting around Guangzhou.
Check-in was smooth, and the staff were courteous, professional, and able to communicate in English. The two-bedroom suite was spacious, comfortable, and ideal for a multi-generational family, offering both room to gather and privacy when needed. The view from the 21st floor was an added bonus.
Breakfast offered a good mix of local and international options, while housekeeping was efficient and flexible. What impressed us most was their attentiveness—they noticed we were travelling with a young child from the milk bottles in the kitchen and thoughtfully provided extra bottled water along with a kind note.
Overall, Kempinski Residences Guangzhou delivered an exceptional family stay through its excellent service, spacious accommodation, convenient location, and genuine attention to detail. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to families visiting Guangzhou.
The only minor issue during our stay was some noise from construction work taking place across from the property. However, the hotel had informed us about this in advance, and the noise was neither excessive nor disruptive. It had very little impact on our overall experience and did not detract from what was otherwise an excellent stay.

Kempinski is a solid brand, staff were nice and moved us into a room further away from the construction
