Meunna Boutique Hotel

Facilities were as expected, and the staff were very helpful in arranging a motorbike rental and transport to the train station at short notice.

We were disappointed not to be informed about the construction work beside the building, which started early in the morning. The noise from the drilling was particularly noticeable during breakfast, making it difficult to hear at times.

Friendly staff. Great breakfast.

Everything

The staff at the reception were extremely kind and helpful. They really went out of their way to assist me with everything I needed. The hotel also offers free bicycles to get to the city center, which is very useful since the hotel is a bit outside of town. They also changed my room after I mentioned that the first one was very dark and facing directly into the wall of the neighboring house, which I appreciated.

Unfortunately, even after the room change the situation was not ideal. There were an incredible number of mosquitoes in the room. In three days I wasn’t able to get rid of them. Because of that, I didn’t even use room service since I was afraid they would leave the door open too long and even more mosquitoes would get inside. I honestly don’t know if there was some kind of nest somewhere, but I’ve never experienced anything like that before. In addition, there was a strong sewage smell coming from the drain, which made it difficult to breathe at times.
