We had a wonderful 4-day stay at the Pelican Lake Cabin. The location is absolutely unbeatable – right on the shore of Pelican Lake with stunning views and surrounded by a peaceful, natural forest. It’s the perfect place to unwind, enjoy nature, and disconnect from the hustle of daily life. The area is extremely quiet and serene, making it ideal for relaxation.
The cabin was reasonably clean, though not spotless. It had a cozy, rustic charm that we appreciated, but if you're particular about cleanliness, just keep that in mind. One thing to note is that two of the bedrooms are connected by a movable wall, which offers limited privacy since it isn't soundproof. This wasn’t a huge issue for us, but it could be something to consider if you’re traveling with a group or need more separation.
Overall, it was a fantastic getaway with gorgeous surroundings and plenty of nature to enjoy. With a bit more attention to detail on cleanliness and the layout, this place could easily be perfect. That said, we'd happily come back – it’s a great spot for anyone looking for a tranquil lakefront retreat!
The cabin’s Wi-Fi was painfully slow – definitely not what we expected. It made it difficult to stay connected or even do simple tasks online. If reliable internet is important to you, this might be frustrating. Great location, but the poor Wi-Fi was a big letdown
