All said it done it was a great location, many things to do at the property itself to stay busy (games and wifi with tv.) and lots to do in the surrounding areas. Host was attentive and kind. They stock the house with most of what you need and its good quality items. (Bed linen, toiletries, paper towel ect) Its a repurposed building so it definitely has it quirks. But nothing you wouldn't expect by looking through the listing. If i had any cons it would be that the weekend we stayed it seemed to be a bit of a rougher crowd. Don't know if it was other vacationers or locals but there were a couple loud fights coming from bars and people using excessive speeding up and down the road. I definitely wouldn't say that affected my trip any, would still stay again.

Super spacious! Super responsive and helpful host! Comfy beds. Wonderfully unique set up, lots of character. Very quiet! Great rockhounding base.

If you want a unique place to stay, this is the place. My 18 year old son and his friend thought it was unique and neat. We would stay there again.
