Clean comfortable room with all amenities. Good location not far from the beach. Friendly staff

It was difficult to understand who was actually in charge when there was any kind of issue. The position of the pool right next to the rooms means Staff need to be briefed to prevent kids from being very noisy and boisterous in the pool at 7.30 in the morning while some guests are still sleeping.

The property was very clean and in good condition. The AC was very strong. The accommodation overall was very comfortable. The staff did their best to try to meet our requests. The location was 15 min walk to the beach (although I would not advise walking). We rented a scooter and it worked very well. It was 90k per day, a tad expensive but we were fine with it. The beach close by is a good place to learn to surf and I would HIGHLY recommend Pantai Mawan (about a 15 min scooter from there). One of the best beaches I have seen in my life! It was nice to have a bar (quiet) above us if we wanted a drink. The area around is very beautiful.

While the staff did make effort to accommodate our requests, ultimately everything was an extra charge, not included, or not worth the initial price. I definitely felt the hotel was a bit stingy with their guests. Everything was significantly higher than in town or in Kuta. A massage was 250k for an hour (many places it would be 100-150/hour). The transport to the ferry was 500k but we got ours by ourselves for 350k to kuta and 400k from the hotel to the ferry. We also paid for the extra breakfast with the room ($3.5/p/d) and we were told that only the instant coffee was included at breakfast. I asked if we could pay a small fee for the cappuccino or milk coffee (as I can’t drink black Lombok coffee). They said it would be the full amount. Ok, while this seemed a bit ridiculous to charge your guests who paid for breakfast already 3.5 an additional $2 a day just to drink a coffee that you already make in house, I can understand that it is an additional charge. However, our last day, we had to leave at 7 am and were told the kitchen did not open until 7:30 am. As we paid $7 for this breakfast in advance, we were offered a “cake” as they would not be open. We said we paid for the breakfast and that did not really seem like a fair substitute. The front desk said that we did not “pay” for it but it was “included” in the room (we had to add it to the room for 3.5/person/day). We asked if they could give us yogurt, granola, and fruit to-go as this was one of the items on the menu and it could be made the day before if needed (as we asked this a day in advance). She agreed. The next morning we were given a couple pieces of fruit in a bowl with a spoon of yogurt on top and a piece of mint. While I appreciate the decoration, there was very little actual food to sustain us and certainly not enough to warrant $7 worth for two. There was definitely room for them to add yogurt or granola (which there was none).
