Great location & view

The location is absolutely perfect, you have everything you need in a 3minutes distance, the sea view is incredible. Traditional taverna, sand beach, farmacy, supermarket, bakery etc. The host is a very nice person, helpful and welcoming.

The room was not in its best shape- the mosquito window net was broken - the host explained and tried to show us how can we make it somehow workable. Very little room for luggage or clothes storage. The bathroom is very very small, we barely could pass between the sink and the toilet to get to the shower. We had plates, cutlery and microwave, but just the little bathroom sink with no room or facility to wash it. The balcony did not have wall separator between us and the neighbors and this was a little disturbing from the intimacy point of view.

Perfect vacation

We've enjoyed a lovely vacation in Thassos Island in the small bay of Skala Marion. The host welcomed us warmly, and we felt like home during our stay. The flat has everything one will need, and the location is central in town. The morning coffee was just perfect on the patio, admiring the sea. Around there are tavernas, a bakery shop and a supermarket. The best taverna around is "Motor Ship". The beach in the bay is good, but the best beach, "Platanes", in the neighborhood, is just 10 minutes walking. There you can enjoy kayak and an Aqua park . We shall be back...

Best stay ever!

Wonderful host, very clean room and great view from the window. Actually, best view I've ever had! Comfortable bed and everything you need is in the room. The village is small but lovely, you can reach cute beach and tavernas within 1 min. Everyone was super nice and welcoming, I liked the place so much I want to move there now :D Thank you very much for the great stay, we look forward to see you again! Pleasant

The locations was close to the beaches, harbor, restaurants and store. The host was always willing to help and kitchen was fully equipped. Ground floor. The terrace faced the beach and harbor and having dinner outside was very nice.

The kitchen had no window, so if you wanted to prepare food in July this was terrible. The bedrooms were too small when you were opening the doors these stroke the beds. Not enough space for closets so all our clothes rested :) in our travel bags. I have booked 1 apartment with 2 bedrooms for 2 families with kids and I realized this is not enough. I do not know if this is booking's faults or host's.

AN UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE. WORTH MUCH MORE THAN 10.

Everything was perfect, the owners, the cleanliness, the view from the room, the amenities. I had 24 hours of hot water in the bathroom, which you don't find easily in all accommodations, usually there is always a problem with the sufficiency of hot water in the bathroom, free internet connection with very fast speed. Everything you need is around the accommodation at a distance of 2 to 3 minutes on foot. Fantastic sunset from the balcony. The location right in front of the sea, I felt that I could dive right from the balcony. I recommend it with all my heart.

Above and beyond any expectations and a definite revisit next year

The location is excellent, exactly on the Skala Maries Beach and in less than a minute you are in the sea. Had a lovely balcony with beach front view and perfect for enjoying the meals and the beautiful sunrises, sunsets and some quiet time. Also the Tavernas, supermarket and bakery are near the accommodation (1min). Bonus 2 extra beaches within walking distance (less than 5-10 min). Cleanliness is 10+ as the host is cleaning the property every day and we daily had fresh towels and clean sheets while the room was spotless. Amazing esthetics: The double room is gorgeous, recently renovated, decorated with taste and very cozy for a couple. Great Facilities: room very well equipped and you have everything you need - cutlery, dishes, coffee machine, sanitary products, AC, TV, fridge. Hosts: Roula and Socrates make you feel you are staying with friends, they are very warm and helpful with everything you need. We were really blessed with Greek hospitality during our stay.

Everything was great with this accommodation, there is nothing I disliked about Ilio Socrates property or the hosts. Some of the noisy neighbors, especially the small children slapping the doors at 7AM... but this is something that cannot be controlled by the hosts (just hoping for better luck at neighbors lottery next time when we will visit this place again :)

A piece of heaven in Thassos

When we first came it was a bit hard to find the location but when we arrived it was heaven. The location is perfect, just near the beach. The apartment has everything and you don't need anything there. You can cook and live there for years. The managers of the villa are super nice people and they help you all thr time with what they can.

There is a bit of a problem with the parking space but it is nothing that you can't find a solution fast.

Everything was perfect in Ilio Socrates! Starting with the host - Roula is the most kind host in the world! She waited for us in the evening, even our late check-in, and was so kind and explained us everything! We had a present in the fridge- a bottle of wine and a bottle of water 🙂! Me, my wife and my two daughters were extremely happy with the location and the view that we had - just above the see ! We had all the tavernas next to us! And what is more - these tavernas are wonderful- people from other villages came to eat in Skala Maries! These are the most romantic tavernas with the most delicious dishes and kind staff! The hospitality of our host was incomparable and I have to say that this is the cleanest place that we’ve ever been to and you have everything that you need- the host have through about everything! Also you have the supermarket at 20 meters from the house and the restaurants at 30 metres 🙂 and the beach too - everything is next to you! About the village- the best village in Thassos - it is unique with its distribution of houses, beach, tavernas ❤️! You see the sunset form all tavernas and the most important - from the view of your room you see the sunset too! You have another 2 beautiful beaches at 200-300 meters! The bathroom is very big and comfortable and you have a very good pressure of the water and hot water too- and it was extremely clean - the cleanest one that we have ever seen! The host was in contact with us all the time and she was ready to help us and to come out n the house all the time! My daughters, my wife and me - we were so sad when we had to leave- we wished that this vacation in this wonderful place would never end! THANK YOU ROULA❤️❤️❤️!

Just as I was surprised to see that this accommodation had very good reviews, so surprised was I when I got there, this accommodation deserves more than a 10. Starting from the extremely friendly owners and their perfect recommendations, to the impeccable cleanliness. The location I have nothing more to add, it couldn't be better, superb view right from the bed and from the terrace. In the immediate vicinity are the best restaurants on the island and the host always helped us with recommendations and reservations. Next time I go to Thassos, I will definitely stay here again.

Evin konumu harika. Tertemiz düzenli denizin kenarında bir ev. Evin önünden denize girebilirsiniz. Restoranlar, eczane, market hepsi mevcut. Birazcık yürürseniz kumsalı, küçük bir aquaparki olan deniz de var ayrıca. Çok sevdik, teşekkürler.

(Рибний/мінімаркет/бари/ресторанчики/ МОРЕ) в Буквальному сенсі 10-15 секунд пішки Вид з вікна..(можна спати з відкритим вікном дихаючи морем, шум з мінімістечка взагалі не заважає) Тераса просто зроблена для того щоб там снідати, обідати, вечеряти і насолоджуватись заходом сонця… Мінібухта наповнена морськими жителями, то ж маски, трубочки обовʼязково з собою.. всі будуть в захваті… (Бачили навіть восьминіга, медуз немає)
