We loved the rustic cottage in the cedar Forrest Dinner was very good. I recommend eating at the bar as it also was a special experience

I didn’t like the lounge it was uncomfortable and hard to get up from. A table and chairs would be better which would also give a bit more area for other things you carry on a trip

We loved our stay at El Campo Guest House! Our cabin was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the location was a great base for exploring the area’s sights. The owners were so welcoming and hospitable, which made our stay feel extra special. After a full day of sightseeing, it was wonderful to come back to a delicious dinner and relax with drinks. The full bar was a bonus, and the owner made the best cocktails we had during our entire trip through Kyushu! Between the delicious food, warm hospitality, and comfortable cabin, El Campo was a truly special place to stay. We would happily return!

Highly recommend! Very cute cabin surrounded by nature. The place is new, clean, cute, and cozy. Perfect for a family/friend trip. Our room had a small kitchen with all the utensils we need to make a simple meal and a microwave. There was even a small couch. This might actually be my favorite lodging in hotel out of the ~7 I’ve stayed in. There was also free parking. Note that there are lots of insects outside(as expected since we are surrounded by nature), but once inside it was fine. All in all, it was a very cute and comfortable place.

The room was perfect for us since we only had two people, but might be a bit tight for a larger group.

The best stay we had this trip, wish we had booked longer. After a chilly and rainy day at the Takachiho area including the gorge and a ride on the amaterasu railway. 30 mins and we arrived to the cabin. Huge inside, kitchen had everything, two bathrooms, even some toys and games. Comfy beds and to top it off our lovely host made some epic cocktails at the bar. Thank you and we will be back again!
