Small guest house, near a very nice onsen. Comfortable beds and furnished in all equipments and all you could need. The owner took the time to explain all the worth sightseeings in the region!
Unavoidable with Japanese-style homes, but the sound isolation is not optimal so we could hear the neighbour room quite a lot.

The guesthouse had all the basic facilities you need for a short stay. Good location, 10min walk from the Aso station.
There were so many written instructions all over the place.

Usually I don’t really like shared bath and toilet, but this guest house turned over my experience.
Everything is very well organized with clear instructions. I assume this is the reason that, at least during my stay, all people followed the rules very well.
Toilet is always very clean. I didn’t feel any discomfort. Bath is the same.
It’s very quiet in this area.
This place is actually in a distance from the train station. So if you come in the evening it might be dark.
This town is very small, so that you don’t find many options for dinner after 6pm. But this is not an issue of this guest house.

Clean. Tidy.
Very uncomfortable bed. Very soft mattress. Badly designed. Too many rules posted everywhere.
