Located within the private gates of Amelia Island Plantation, this newly remodeled 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom Oceanfront Oasis is the perfect coastal retreat.
Upon entering this 3rd floor condo, you will be greeted with an abundance of natural light and a spectacular ocean view. A calming color palette, custom cabinetry and furniture, quartz countertops, slate gray appliances, wood-grain porcelain flooring, and a marble tiled main bathroom shower are just some of the updated features that make 1640 Sea Dunes unique and inviting.
Enjoy morning coffee while watching the sunrise and the dolphins play from your private balcony. Spend the day relaxing on the beach or lounging at the large, nicely renovated pool. Guests can also make plans to be pampered at the full-service spa at the Omni Amelia Island Resort, located within the AIP. The closest golf courses are Little Sandy and Oak Marsh but there are many other nice courses in the area.
Want to take a leisurely stroll beneath the picturesque oak canopies? AIP has miles of walking and biking trails that weave across the sprawling 1,340-acre gated community. Island hopper, bicycle, kayak, and paddle board rentals are available nearby.

This condo was a true gem in terms of cleanliness and comfort! It truly had everything we needed, making for a very relaxing stay indoors. However, our experience was significantly impacted by ongoing construction right outside the unit. A large construction crane was parked directly in front of the condo, completely obstructing what we had hoped would be a beautiful ocean view. Additionally, a crew was painting the exterior of the building starting at 8am, so there was no time for a relaxing coffee out on the balcony.While we understand that building maintenance is necessary, we were disappointed that we were not informed about this construction prior to our arrival. Had we known about the obstructed view and the ongoing work, we might have reconsidered our booking or at least come prepared for the noise and lack of privacy.Overall, the condo itself was lovely, but the unexpected and uncommunicated construction was a major drawback that detracted significantly from our vacation experience. We hope the owners will be more transparent about any ongoing work in the future to ensure other guests are fully aware of the situation before booking.
