Would not return or recommend this hotel.

Breakfast few choices and limited menu it was very poor and disappointing. Especially when hotel had a full menu at breakfast but not for their guests staying at the hotel.

Did not like the constant barking of dogs in the garden area of the hotel especially at night and during the morning and afternoon. We booked room because of the garden and patio but were not able to enjoy this area at all.

Extremely disappointed with the front desk staff

The kitchen service and the breakfast is really good. The Cook does a really good job. Only one of the front desk guy. I can’t remember his name was very cooperative.

This hotel is at a location which is already very loud. I have stayed here before. There was a festival outside till 2 AM in the morning. They gave us earplugs so we can not hear the outside noise. I cooperated never complained. This time I rented the penthouse. The doors and the cabinets in the penthouse are so cheap when you close them the whole hotel will hear them. You don’t rent a penthouse so you don’t move around in that place. I got a text message from one of the employee that you are very loud. I showed him the next morning the cabinets and the doors are so cheap. Not at all upto the standard of the price they’re asking for. The staff downstairs for five days was very rude. Just because I had a local family with me staying in another room. They only want to treat gringos well and not the local people there. This is totally unacceptable. This is the last time I’ve ever stayed in that hotel and will never go back.

Chapala stay at its essence!!!

I loved everything about this hotel suite! How close it was to the town, the balcony, the terrace, the spacious living room, dining area, and adorable, fully loaded kitchen. I loved the fact that each bedroom had its own bath. The design and vibe were beautiful. I will always stay here if I come to Chapala. There is nothing like drinking a cup of coffee and having a view of the plaza.

It didn't have washer and dryer.

Extremely comfortable.

The hotel was exceptionally comfortable. The location was excellent and very safe. Especially if you are traveling with your family. I would recommend this hotel to everyone traveling to Lake Chapala.

The hotel was a little loud at night as it is very close to the plaza. But they provided me with the ear plugs and it helped a lot.

Every day I was greeted with a cup of coffee, toast with butter and jam, and a bowl of fresh cut fruit. The fruit was usually guava and melon.

Excellent experience - Excellent location and room quality, excellent service.

I had a problem the first night. My bed was too soft and I had back pain. I told the Manager and he moved me to a much better bedroom and bed. The hotel is off the main street of Lake Chapala. It was also right near the walkway next to the lake. There were a number of restaurants nearby. I say this because when in the Hotel it was totally quiet. And I'm someone who needs a quiet room to be able to sleep. I had no problems. The breakfast was included and there were a few choices. I always had the same thing and it was always very well cooked and there was a willingness to make a few changes. As an aside - the staff was very friendly and helpful. I'd be happy to stay there again if I returned.

I loved more came with premier movies and net flex. Wonderful air conditioner. Staff was very friendly. Break was amazing. Everything was walking distance.

Good hotel in downtown Chapala that was clean comfortable and accommodating.

Nice hotel on Main Street. perfect for visiting downtown Chapala. Clean and attractive. Breakfast was ample with choice from 8 entries. Great shower and bed. Public parking around the corner and staff helped us with our luggage. The car was hit by another driver in the parking lot and the hotel manager negotiated with them to pay for damages. Good restaurant nearby El Fogon. Beautiful back yard.

Room was small. Hard to find at night. Signage was small.

Staff was good.

I notified the owner that I wanted to check out early. The owner said give him 2 days which I did. He did not tell me I had go through booking.com. When I went to check out he said the that I had to sort it out with booking.com. Well I went to booking.com and found out that needed 2 days notice to cancel, which i did not have. I believe the owner knew this but did not tell me We got Ivan to book us a cab. He got a kick back from the cab. It costs us twice as much as the cab coming back. Did not trust the owner to get us a cab to the bus station after that. There couple of other issues too. The owner of this hotel is the reason people are scared to go to Mexico. This was my 10 visit to Chapala, will not stay here again.
