Charming apartment with independent entrance on the second and last floor of an ancient stone house in the small (about 200 inhabitants) medieval village of Orciatico. The village is located in the Volterra hills, in the middle of a territory that includes the main art cities of Tuscany (Volterra 17 km; San Gimignano 34 km; Pisa 54 km; Lucca 65 km; Siena 73 km; Florence 83 km) and it is not far from the sea (Cecina 45 km). It is surrounded by vast forests and can be a starting point for pleasant excursions in the uncontaminated nature, dotted with vestiges of the past. In the village there is a grocery store and a bar. All shops and restaurants are in Lajatico (7 km) and larger supermarkets are 10 minutes away by car. The apartment (48 square meters), renovated in 2005, respects the original structures (terracotta floors, ceilings with wooden beams) and is comfortably furnished in a rustic style. It includes a double bedroom, a living room with fireplace and sofa bed for two people, a kitchen, a bathroom and a covered terrace (6 square meters). Parking at about 40 m. Satellite TV and WIFI.
