A good base in Bled with a few small issues
I enjoyed my time at this basement apartment. The location is a few minutes walk from the lake, over a hill, but you are also out of the hustle and bustle of a busy resort. the space is good and the standard of fittings mostly high for the kitchen and bathroom area, it all looks very attractive. The WiFi, once I found how to turn it on was really fast. There is an air flow system, I think it was doing something as the temperature seemed regulated, there are thermostats on the wall, but no instructions. I used the electric hob a couple of times. There is an excellent range of tourist and hiking literature provided including loan books about Bled and Slovenia. Parking was on a designated part of the grass.
The little fridge was very noisy and woke me up frequently at night with it's rattling. Neighbours were having parties, not the fault of the property, one night all was quiet from 10pm, the next night (Sunday), partying until nearly 1am. It is a substantial building, private hire vehicles came and went, so this was fellow visitors to accommodation above. I would have found a microwave useful. The bed was mostly fine, the mattress just sits on a box below, so it moves as you turn over until a third of it is hanging over air :-) Simple to modify the base I would think.
