The bed was very uncomfortable! It’s like the mattress gets a sink hole in the middle and you can’t get out!

This is a very cute place to stay. Basically on the main strip. Everything is walkable. Just far enough down to not be amid it all. Country store right next door for coffee, food, water, etc. Very clean and nicely put together. Love the porch with chairs to sit and drink coffee and relax.
The room we got, Unicoi, was small. Very tight space for two people. The bathroom was nice size and separate from sleeping area. Not a lot of room for two people to move around and use two suitcases. It appeared other rooms may be larger.

THIS REVIEW IS REGARDING THE LOCAL PROPERTY MANAGER! We have been coming to Helen for several years now but this was our first time staying at Upcountry Inn Sautee Suite. The bed in our rental was broken and uncomfortable. I reached out to the managing company during our stay and never heard back from the local property manager. I had to reach out 2 more times and a week later before getting a response! I was told there would be no compensation for a "hard" bed (it was not hard it was broken/sunken in the middle). Also, they lied and said I already left a bad review. I never made a review until AFTER the response we received. I don't know about you but when looking for a place to stay a comfortable bed to sleep in is very important. Evidently the local property manager doesn't agree or believe in customer service! Other than that our stay was ok the room was clean and the location is awesome
****Update! I went back to read other reviews. Someone made a review from November 2024 with a picture of the room we stayed in stating the mattress needs replaced! For a year now they have known the mattress needs replaced and haven't done so. Wow!!
