Eleas Gi Villa

Lovely villa in a very quiet rural location but only 5 mins walk into Vitalades and 5 mins drive to the beautiful Gardenos beach. Comfy beds, great shower and well equipped kitchen. Nice touch to have water & a bottle of prosecco in the fridge. Great garden with sunbeds, bbq, pool and covered area for shade. Stefanos very, very helpful and showed us around on our first day. Excellent wi-fi and air conditioning in every room with was very much needed. Co-host Valia was very responsive re booking and checking in. Would highly recommend.

This really was an exceptional trip, partly because of the villa and hosts, partly because of the village and the surroundings. It was a couple and two friends, the idea was to work a bit during the day (digital company) and enjoy the local villages in the evening and weekends. It was really perfect for that. The pictures don't do the villa justice, the pool and garden are great and the rooms are a good size. All the facilities are to a great standard. The owners cared about our stay - someone to let us in and introduce us to the place, then collect the keys. The pool was checked a few times (we were there for 10 days). The Vitalades itself has a couple of bars and restaurants- we'd recommend Amour (I think I'm spelling it correctly) where the owners were fantastic. You can cab it from here to a few different villages for dinner as well, which we did. The beach is about a 30 min walk away and is uncrowded with a couple of restaurants. We had a couple of days there, too. Get to know a good taxi firm and they'll ferry you round your bit of the island for as long as you're there. If you're looking for a great house, garden and pool as a base, beach to go to for a few days, a village to go to a few nights then some barbecues in the garden and a few trips out for dinner to local villages, then I don't think you could find better than here. We whiled away 10 days in comfort, surrounded by great nights in around the barbecue and pool, easy nights in the village (5 mins walk away), great days at the beach, easy days working when we needed to and fantastic nights out at local villages. We'll be coming back next year for the same kind of easy, comfortable break.

Needed a corkscrew and a decent knife. We bought them and left them there so you should be fine!
