Check in using a tablet mounted on the wall at the entrance in the apartment block - it did not work when we arrived, but the host quickly provided the code by phone. The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Location is close to subway station on the circular metro line, easy to access any other location in Tokyo. Location is quiet, residential area. There are 2 bedrooms (one with one bed, the other with 2 beds) which are very large and can accommodate comfortably up to 6 people. The are 2 bathrooms which are not heated (relevant for winter months); we needed a heater which was provided promptly by the host, the next day. Genkimaru restaurant is very close to the apartment, popular with locals and very good food.

Apartment D (or 401) is located at 4th floor, and there is no elevator. The stair from 3rd to 4th floor is spiral. It may be difficult for some people to access it with ease. Kitchen amenities and tools are very limited, but restaurants and cafes can be found nearby. There is no shortage for good places to eat in Tokyo.
