Mosquee & Sea View Casablanca

The location is great next to Hassan Mosque and the Atlantic Ocean. Every room has AC. So convenient to have microwave oven, regular oven, gas stove, fridge, washer and dryer. Easy to get around by walking or just catch a taxi. Good restaurants and mini markets nearby. Very spacious apartment with 2 bathrooms. Perfect for our family's need. Very nice and friendly host. It would be even better if there are bidets in the bathroom. One of the AC remote doesn't have batteries, but the good thing is we were able to use the other remote for all 3 ACs.

We were practically neighbors with the mosque, which made getting to the corniche very easy. We were among residents.

There were only towels for bathing, no hand towels or kitchen towels. The doorman was a bit unnerving.

The apartment was a good size and the beds were comfortable, the doorman was very polite. The washing machine and dryer were nice to have.

Getting into the apartment was confusing, the doorman stopped us from entering until he spoke with Sofia and we were finally let in, still not sure what the issue was as he didn’t speak english and we didn’t speak moroccan . I was then called by Sophia who asked for photos of our passports , I had sent copies of them to her 9 months ago via email and she had acknowledged receiving them, I found the email and sent it again. Entering the lift lobby we were told by another man who was in the building that they were renovating the apartment next to ours, when we finally got inside the apartment the noise was horrendous, they were jackhammering all day, they finally stopped after 17:00hrs. The cleaner was still in the apartment when we were let inside for at least an hour so we had to wait in the lounge area until she finished. The kitchen lacked kitchenware, for example 3 teaspoons , 3 mugs no tea towels to dry anything, the bathroom floor flooded near the toilet when you showered and the flush button on the toilet was missing.
