Having the hotel Aquila be the base hotel to get keys was great. Plus their staff and restaurant.

Super old and overvalued apartment. Not recommening to anyone

Nothing.

No ski lockers. 100 years old furniture. Living room seating impossible (where you spend most of your time after skiing). No parking. Bad location. Super expensive without any added benefit.

Worst experience of my life

One of my friend was locked in the washroom for 40 minutes. They didn't had any means to take him out. They called the fire department and they freed him. Due to this issue we missed our bus. We asked the staff to please arrange a taxi or give us fare for the next ticket but they denied. They said the best thing we can do is to offer you night stay if you pay 150 euros, which was 2 miles hike from the city center. They didn't let us talk to the manager or any other person. We booked out ticket for the next morning and we asked the least to let us stay in the guest room but thay kicked us out from there also. So we booked a new accomodation and ticket ourselves. Thanks for this very convenient experience.

A quirky yet perfect apartment for a group/ family with kids.

Old but gold, apartment on the outskirts of town, that was perfect for our group. It has little quirks, that others could dislike, but honesty in reality these are minor things. The whole apartment was clean and tidy. The shower was nice a power and hot. The tv area was cosy for films. There was all amenities for cooking and a lovely big dining table.

Not a big deal to our group at all but you can’t use both showers at the same time, but easily solvable issue. Some of the sockets don’t work, but there are so many it doesn’t matter.

Clean, comfy but needs modernising and making child friendly.

Easy, but going to a hotel in the middle of town defies the point of getting an apartment. Clean rooms although some seals in kitchen are dirty.

No proper parking. Small bathrooms for a family. Screw sticking out in lounge. Limited crockery for a family. Place needs modernising. Lots of clutter in house including items that could be damaged by children. Small batteries in draws could be lethal for children.

Worst stay ever. Booking.com doesn’t care.

Nothing. You have to check the comments under « Hotel Aquila in Cortina D’ampezzo » to really understand who you deal with. Nothing is good, the location seems a little bit old on the pictures but it’s in reality really old, creepy and not at all welcoming. Only bonus point is that I forgot my airpod pros and they sent them through courrier I paid 24 hours later.

You have to check the comments under « Hotel Aquila in Cortina D’ampezzo » to really understand who you deal with. The first place didn’t look as good as it was on the pictures, really creepy. The second was emptier and creepy too. The heat and hot water were not working so the location we chose to have a nice view was replaced, without compensation, by a place in the centre of the village with no view at all. Both places were dirty, hairs everywhere even in the sink of both bathrooms (I have proofs). The place was so cold when we entered that the beds and sheets were almost wet from humidity. The « wifi » is a small key you put in an electric plug and seems to have a 10 cm of working radius. They have two « bathrooms », the first one the bathtub is in front of a window with no shutter, if you take a shower or a bath and you turn on the light people will see you through the window. The second there’s a shower so little you touch every cold glass panels at every movement. + the hairs everywhere, really it’s gross. They have a « parking » at 350 meters from the place, the access is so dangerous while walking because they made you go through the 15% access ramp and even with only a little rain it gets so slippery I fell and hurt badly my back (+ almost broke 4K of drone and photo camera). There’s no where a safe place on the ramp to go down get your car, you either wait to have a dry surface or you slide on your ass. Workers shut the water of the building without giving notice for an entire day, the hotel didn’t tell us and they don’t do anything when we asked what’s going on. I contacted Booking.com, they hide behind the hotel saying there’s nothing they can do, they don’t want to give back a part of the 500€ for 3 nights we paid because the hotel is refusing to reimburse our disastrous stay. they don’t want to respond to my photos and last message, still waiting after 48 hours even though they promised an answer in the 24 hours of my message.

The whole experience from this stay is that owner doesn't care about the apartment or the guests.

The view from the windows.

Wierd smell, old damaged cookware, very humid. Very squiky floors and furniture, bad attitude of the owner. There was a very bad smell in this apartment. Especialy in the living room. It smells like there was living a person that didn't wash himself properly for a long time. The cookware was rusty and damaged. Pans have damaged teflon coating, and it's not healthy to cook in them. When we tell about these problems to owner, he said that everything must be ok. And when they clean apartment there were no any bad smell at all. After that he didn't respond at all to us at all. The floors at the bedroom are very squicky. At first we even didn't understand what making that wierd noise. The whole experience from this stay is that owner doesn't care about the apartment or the guests.

A nice apartment with some issues...

Villa Radiosa worked for us for our one-night stay. The beds were comfortable, and the apartment was clean and attractive.

We share these items in the hope that Stay in Cortina will make improvements for the next guests: We found the unit at the address specified. It leads to a 4-unit door on the side of the building. However, there is no notice on the outside of the building that says "Stay in Cortina." Once inside, we had to look at the small labels by the doors to find "Stay in Cortina." We had trouble with the wifi service. When checking it at Hotel Aquila, we were given a package with a plug-in wifi unit. At the apartment, not even our engineer son could make it work with the password on the unit. After a few hours, he called Aquila, and they suggested opening the wifi case to find the "reset" password inside, which worked. It was a frustrating experience. The coffee make in the unit is the older 2-part: fill with ground coffee and water, and heat on the stove - which makes 1 cup at a time. There's no hot pad to hold the coffee maker, and no paper toweling. There is a washing machine listed in the Booking.com description - however, it is in the basement. Down there, it is dark and the walls are rough. There are 3 doors to unlock with the key provided, looking for the machine. There are no instructions how to operate it. We would have liked to wash, but did not.

The apartment was spacious and comfortable and was equipped with all the necessary amenities. It had the best ever view of the Alps and alpine villages. Check in and check out was easy and hassle free and the hotel staff even accommodated our request to store our luggage a good couple of hours before our check in time.

Lo stato della struttura non rispecchia minimamente le foto, con mancanza di requisiti minimi di igiene e di comfort per un’abitazione: - divani e poltrone, vecchi, polverosi e senza cuscini - tavolo con sedie e panca sprovvisti di cuscini e rivestimenti parete della panca - livello di pulizia generale della casa assolutamente non conforme ai requisiti minimi di igiene - proprietari dell’agenzia maleducati e poco disponibili a venire incontro ad esigenze basiche dei clienti (mancavano tovaglia e tovagliette e non hanno voluto fornirceli) - lavatrice assente e importante per un soggiorno medio-lungo di una famiglia - bagni con tubature vecchie e lunghi tempi di attesa per l’acqua calda

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible... Je ne recommande pas cet hôtel !

Il faut fuir cette offre d’hébergement. En effet, le service est lamentable. Le personnel désagréable au téléphone. Vous devez récupérer les clés à 2 kilomètres du lieu de résidence. Dans le cas ou arrivez après 19h30 il vous facture 50 € de pénalité sans vous prévenir. Vous devez absolument quitter le lieu à 10 heures et restituer les clés à l’endroit où vous les avez récupérées sous peine de pénalités. Personnel désagréable, absence managériale. Lieu excentré dans une ruelle sans possibilité de stationnement de véhicule. L’appartement est très ancien avec un parquet grinçant. Mobilier usagé et défectueux. Bref, nous ne recommandons fortement pas.
