Great care and attention have been given to each of the rooms, enhanced with original art and oriental rugs. It's within easy walking distance to Asheville's downtown. The apartment has hardwood floors, light-filled rooms, and cozy relaxing furniture. Remote working is easy with powerful Wifi. Two bedrooms, one with a king and one with a queen bed, have adjoining bathrooms each with a tub and a shower. The kitchen includes a large pantry and everything you'll need to cook at home. Or, if you don't feel like cooking many restaurants and pubs are within easy walking distance. Leave your car at home and enjoy the charm of a walkable neighborhood. We stayed for five weeks, and couldn't have asked for a better location to get to know Asheville. An easy walk to downtown, and several excellent restaurants are within a couple of blocks. The apartment is comfortable and cozy, and Jaan was an excellent host and very responsive.

Well appointed second floor apartment in excellent neighborhood near downtown Asheville. Comfortable furniture and beds. The apartment was very clean and the kitchen was stocked with all the right utensils and pans to cook meals when we didn’t want to eat out. We stayed seven weeks and loved it. Our host was very responsive to our questions. We would definitely stay again.

Loved, loved our 5 week stay here! It was incredibly comfortable & we felt so at home here. Our host could not have been more accommodating with promptly responding to all our questions ahead of and during our stay. Perfectly appointed and stocked with everything we might have needed, including fresh flowers and fruit upon our arrival. Location is superb for walkable dinning in the neighborhood as well as the city center. A very pedestrian area, and we can’t wait to return!

I was very impressed with this apartment. The furnishings and decor made it feel comfortable and higher quality. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is stocked well. The location was fantastic. It was so convenient to downtown as well as being able to walk to many restaurants and coffee shops. Jaan, the owner was wonderful to work with. Very quick response time, and a very kind and caring lady. I'm grateful to have found such a nice place.

What am amazing month I had! I love to walk and explore, and this was the perfect place to do so. This property is located close to many restaurants, breweries and shops. The host Jaan checked in with me periodically to see how things were going and was very responsive to any questions we had. I will definitely be visiting again!

We had a wonderful month in Jaan's apartment in July. The apartment is very well furnished, with all the kitchen equipment needed to fully completely self sufficient. The two bedroom individual suites would be perfect for two couples, or a family with kids. The location is fantastic, with City Bakery one block away, grocery stores (Harris Teeter, Trader Joe's, and Whole Foods a 10 minute walk, and a cery short walk stright into downtown. We made some great memories in this place and would happily stay there again! Cary and Brent

Lovely Location

Lovely Location

We enjoyed a month-long stay in this lovely home and accessible neighborhood. The center of downtown AVL is just over a mile away however, the neighborhood has great restaurants, a bakery and a Starbucks a short walk downhill. The only challenge was spotty wifi during storms but the wifi has two portals to give added strength. Our hostess was responsive and attentive to our requests. We give this home the highest recommendation!

Wanting to spend the winter south of Boston, my partner and I decided on Asheville and chose Jaan’s property due to the central location and excellent communication with the host. We’re very happy with our stay and felt right at home due to the comfortable furnishings, attention to detail and proximity to so many things to do. I’d love to return, and highly recommend to others exploring downtown Asheville and beyond.

OMG...Asheville heaven on earth

My husband and I were invited by a friend to stay in Asheville for a week. We were excited about the stay. Not knowing the area we strolled through several possible VRBOs in our price range. This place looked great but, let’s face it, when something looks great but has a lower price than other places...well you wonder what’s the catch. I’m here to tell you, there is no catch. Jaan’s rental is spectacular. The rooms are light and spacious. The interior design is comfortable and elegant. The kitchen is as comfortable as yours at home and well organized. The beds were perfect. Goldilocks woulda settled right in for a long stay! It’s close to everything and within walking distance of downtown. It’s an upstairs unit so if you have mobility issues and can’t climb a flight of stairs then it’s not a good choice for you. Otherwise you would be very, very lucky to snag this place! Don’t pass it by because it looks too good for the price! And Jaan and her husband were gracious hosts! Thanks, you two!
