The apartment is quite big by Japanese standards, clean and has many convenient features. It is located a short walking distance from Tamade station, and there are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Despite being close to the station and main road, it is a quiet place. Despite the language barrier as the host doesn't speak English, he was promptly available and efficiently assisted me when needed.

The mattress has some strong springs that really hurt my ribs. Personally, I loved the neighborhood, but there are a few drunken people and some odd looking characters around the main road. I felt safe at all times, but for someone who is more sensitive or not used to it, it may not be pleasant.
