Single open-concept home one block from the ocean with heated pool and lanai

Great Home for family vacation, Quiet neighborhood with walkable beach access.Everything you need for the beach is included so no need to rent chairs or umbrellas.5 stars! Thanks John!

We were in West Palm beach this summer playing in a 13u travel baseball tournament. This house was awesome! Excellent neighborhood! Very good location! Close to good food, the beach, the baseball parks, & the airport. The pool was nice, the house was clean and very well maintained. The bikes were very nice! We loved taking a bike ride in the evenings. I already miss that part. The beach chairs were handy as well. John, the owner, is a very nice guy. We appreciated so much having the opportunity to check-in early and check-out late at no additional cost! That was a huge perk for our travel agenda! We had great communication and it was priced perfectly! We will definitely stay here again if our lives lead us back to West Palm Beach. Thanks again! Tim

Went down for baseball/family vacation. The house was absolutely amazing. Very clean! John was very quick to respond with any question I had. The pool right out the back door was great and the beach was a quick 10 min walk. The wife and kids lived riding the bikes around the neighborhood and also down to the bagel shop and the ice cream shop. Our first time in Palm Beach was fantastic, thanks to John and his house!

Listing photos are accurate and the home is very close to the beach. Public beach access, but no public parking so we really saw no one on the path each day. The beach was pretty quiet even with the condos and hotels around. There were actually newer bar stools than the photos showed. Large screened in pool area with a big covered porch with plenty of seating. It is an older home that could use some updates but seems typical for Florida. It also could have been cleaner when we checked in, the master shower still had hair in it (I didn't bother contacting the host about it as this seems typical for VRBOs at this point even at this price). There was a smelly decomposed rat under the grill outside that you could smell from the pool area that I tracked down. I contacted the host to let them know I hosed it down a bit. They graciously directed me to a shovel in the garage to put it in the trash myself. The front small bedroom was always hot despite the rest of the house cooling OK, the A/C noise in that room is pretty absurd too. The power blinds in the master bedroom were appreciated. It would be nice if all the windows had such nice blinds. Was cool watching iguanas cross back and forth in the backyard while in the pool too.
