Windham Mountain sits only 7 miles from the cabin where you can catch a chair lift and ski the day away. In warmer months, head to Dutchman’s Landing Park where you can take a boat out on the Hudson River. Very quiet neighborhood, very peaceful. The only issue was there was a storm the night before we left, lots of rain and high winds. The next morning we went out and the door to the shed next to the driveway was laying on the ground. It was blown off by the high winds. I immediately informed the property owner…but haven’t heard back from them. As we left, we did see a small bear walking across the road!
