Casa Lool Beh

A homelike stay hosted by the very pleasant Ananda. The room itself was very good size with plenty of closet and dresser space to store my belongings. The AC and ceiling fan were much appreciated to get a good night's sleep. The internet was very reliable, with no interruptions at all during my stay. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals. Ananda also has a nicely shaded garden area in back to relax. The neighborhood felt safe. I walked around a lot and never had an issue. Ananda's place is also close to the central park and the attractions there.

The room faces the street. The street noise really wasn't an issue for me though. Ear plugs and white noise seemed to eliminate any outside noises. I was never woken by any

Nothing. It was a great stay.

Excellent value, and a really warm welcome from the hosts. The room was spacious, the Aircon and fan worked well, the patio area is pretty and again, Ananda and José were absolutely lovely. The location was ok - it's close to the ADO station and a 15-20 minutes walk to the main square, but there isn't a lot nearby (cafes, restaurants etc). It's quiet, though, traffic noise aside - no late night partying or club music which was nice. WiFi worked well, and there was desk space in the room. Shower pressure wasn't great but the water temperature was perfect.

The common areas - kitchen and dining room - were really very hot, with no Aircon or ventilation which was a bit uncomfortable, especially as eating isn't allowed in the room. There was no mosquito net on the door to the balcony in my room, which was the only opening to the outside, meaning it was hard to get natural light in and the little breeze I could in the heat. The kitchen is great, very well-equipped, but it may be good to provide basic condiments for guests who don't plan on staying long (oil, salt). There was no coffee, either - lots of teas, but no coffee, and there aren't really any cafes nearby. Only one towel provided is a bit tight - fortunately I had my own.

Friendly host. Nice location at walking distance from the center.

Overall, sleeping room and bathroom was def not out favorite one.
