Stayed for a night but impressed with the staff assistance and the level of cleanliness in the recently renovated guest rooms.
Pub downstairs has retained a lot of its old charm architecture and celebrates its history with a great photo collection. Magnificent views out to see and up and down the coast from its prominent location.

The old hotel atop the cliff is in a killer position. Built in 1930s, it is in the middle of a makeover but in the nicest possible way. The rooms are fabulous and you can choose from swish kingsized ensuited rooms with ocean views right through to bunk rooms with share facilities. We stayed in one of the town facing ensuite rooms…small but cosy and it had everything we wanted and all very stylish to boot. Great bar downstairs with awesome seafront views and a pretty good menu for eating in. We loved our stay and will be back!

Stayed on Australia Day weekend, not a single flag or Australia Day decoration. Would suggest the owners and/or management are woke and anti-Australia Day.
Appalling music played at painful level, think it was JJJ.
Appalling "dance" music played until midnight, which reverberated through the wooden building with tectonic effect. No sleep until 1pm.
Didn't want to use the restaurant as again appalling excruciating loud anti-music. went and ate somewhere else. Nice view for a beer but don't expect to chill, they'll pound you with the worst music ever, even in the morning.
Rooms were however newly renovated and 5 star, but still too pricey for a pub with no parking. Parking is on the street at your own risk.
Only upside is the sound of the sea at night after the "music" been turned off and the view, which you will pay steep for.
Won't stay again though, if the management seems to have a problem with Australia Day.
