Great villa 100 yards from the waterfront and wonderful restaurants . The communication was very good and all questions were answered really quickly. The villa itself was really relaxing in a quiet area but close to everything , it has a lovely garden and pool area whilst inside is really spacious and comfortable. What more do you need , would definitely stay again. Zaton Valiki is really quiet but that is what we wanted , nice walks fabulous swimming and snorkeling and at least 3 good restaurants . There were more but we did not try them , Knoba Capo was our favorite and in our opinion the best value .
Taxis to Dubrovnik were not cheap . UBER taxis were much cheaper BUT agree the price quoted by UBER with the taxi driver first , before you set off .

The location was wonderful , as was the house. The location especially suited us as we did not need to take a car out in the evening, as there were a couple of restaurants within 5 mins walk, but you heard no noise from them in the house which was very quiet.
Our one big disappointment was that there were only 2 sunbeds when we were a party of 6 and the house sleeps 10 - it was really unexpected and such a shame as everything else was so good.

Family of 2 parents and 4 adult children - 17, 19, 21 & 23 years. We loved the location and the space in the villa. The villa was well equipped and had everything we needed. The air conditioning was very good and in all rooms. Plenty of towels for house & beach. Kitchen was lovely clean and modern. We were walking distance to beach and restaurants. Our favorite was Konoba Capo great food & even better service. Every morning we walked to the 2 shops for fresh supplies approx 2.5 km but a beautiful walk by the waters edge. The beach was lovely & water so clean. Water shoes handy as most beaches are stoney but the water is so lovely. Lovely pool in back garden not big enough to do lengths but lovely for a quick dip and the beach is only approx. 100 metres walk away if you want to do lots of swimming. Pool not perfect for young kids if they can't swim but then beach is only around the corner. We were there in June and it was lovely weather, I believe it is alot more busy July /August but it is a big area and has a number of beaches so I don't think it would be too busy. Zaton is about 15/20 min car drive to Dubrovnik we got a taxi mostly but there is a local bus which we did use also. The bus is not frequent but perfect if you plan times. Only went to Dubrovnik to see sights spent most of the time in Zaton Veliki (big Zaton) great walks, great views & great bay. Can do some of the water trips & boats from there. Such a lovely house overall & I would score 10 except for the below sunlounger & late check out cost.
Only 2 sun loungers for house that fits 8 people another 2 at least would be good. (We did know this however before we went & there were lots of garden chairs.)
Church very close & bell goes off at 7am, 12, 3 & 7pm. We were there for 2 weeks and didn't notice it after the 1st few days. So worth a mention but it wouldn't put me off.
Our flight was in the evening on our last day and late check out was till 12. To stay 3 hours longer we would have had to pay an extra night even though there was no one booked for that night. It did make our last day more stressful than it needed to be & we were willing to pay extra but a more reasonable charge.
