Stony Lake is a spring fed all-sport lake great for fishing, swimming, power boating, sailing, paddle boarding, and kayaking.
The cabin is located on the south side of Stony Lake which makes access to local attractions easy, such as Lake Michigan, Silver Lake Sand Dunes, Michigan's Adventure, golfing, cycling trails, and more. Ludington, Pentwater, Montague, Hart, and Whitehall are all within 30 minutes.

Great spot. We spent most our time at the local lake MI beach access which was a mile away. Although public it felt private. The house was very clean upon arrival and had everything we could think of. The decor and all the antiques within the home were very cool. We ate out locally one night at The Farmhouse (great steak) and grabbed pizza a couple times at the local market close to the lake. Would love to try this place for ice fishing in the winter after learning there is walleye and pike!

This cabin was the perfect fit for our family. The kids enjoyed the closeness of the lake for rafting and fishing and it was centrally located to many of things Lake Michigan has to offer.

Clean, neat and user friendly. Ample mumber of beds, multiple separate gathering areas, 3 showers which never ran out if hot water (with a group of 6). Full sized washer and drier was a huge plus with kids. Plenty of room to spread out both inside and outside on the property.

We have stayed in dozens of cabins. Some rustic, some giant, some nearly dilapidated. This cabin has been so lovingly restored, it has retained the magic of a true northwoods cabin. It is the perfect mix of old cabin charm with all the right modern amenities.The kitchen is very open, spacious and well equipped for big families. Top shelf cabin wear is easy to find. You can eat in the kitchen or the attached dining room with wrap around windows. Two outdoor grills to choose from: Propane or charcoal. Two outdoor fire pits. A grand old inside fireplace with two story ceilings and great antiques to complete the charm. Bedrooms were cozy and nice beds. The back covered porch with a wall of windows overlooking the lake—awesome. The lower level outdoor patio is also nice with a box of outdoor cushions to grab. A real nice basement for board games or to watch TV if you really need to.The property is nicely landscaped with a cozy beach and dock to use. Just loved this place.Nit picky stuff—-A long walk to a bathroom from the upstairs bedrooms. An old, broken down pedal boat was water logged and filled with mud on the lakeshore. Kind of an eyesore. We tried to clean it out to see if it still worked. A couple of holes need to be fixed and the rudder is broken but the pedals still work. Either fix it or get rid of it—-don’t spoil the beach with it.
