We had a great time with my family. The view is outstanding and if you have bad luck with the weather there is plenty of things to do indoor. The kitchen is fully equipped, there is yard game, outdoor seating… truly made for a great time by Lake Michigan. The only thing to make sure you are aware of is that due to proximity with forest there is a risk for tick and mosquito. the day we left insect repellent company was coming to work on the yard.You can trust the host to be prompt answering your question or concern.

We had a family gathering of 16 people here. We loved the large porch where we could all sit together for meals, games and watching the sunsets. The kitchen was another great spot to gather while cooking and washing up. The beach was quiet with nice areas to walk along the waterfront in both directions. We did encounter some challenges with accessibility for my Dad, who depends on a walker for getting around. Neither the front entry steps nor the garage steps had a railing he could hold. The back steps had a very secure railing so he could safely go up and down those stairs but he couldn’t easily walk in the sandy lawn to get to the front where the cars were. A strong railing in front would have made a big difference for his safety. Also, there are 2 pairs of bedrooms that are connected so you need to walk through one to get to the other. This results in a lack of privacy that can be awkward for groups of adults. We loved the game room and also made good use of the board games in the basement. The local Montague grocery store had a good selection of food for everyone in our group (including vegetarian and gluten-free items)

Our entire family of 16 people enjoyed a full week in Muskegon. This house provided everything we needed to enjoy the water and surroundings. The house had ample room for everyone and lots of options for entertainment. I would recommend this to any large group! You'll love it!

Our family of 16 had a wonderful time in a beautiful location and a beautiful home. Lots of family time at the beach, golfing, and game time in the large game room. Our host responded promptly to all of our needs. The beautiful sunsets contributed to a week we will always remember!
