Wyndham Ocean Walk sits along the famous Daytona Beach in Daytona FL. The Ocean Walk Village complex is a three-level entertainment complex with shopping, restaurants and a movie theater and is part of this resort. This beachfront property offers a variety of fun activities and access to popular attractions. The resort boasts a lazy river, water slide, toddler friendly pool area and 2 hot tubs plus an indoor pool. You can relax poolside with a cocktail from the pool bar or take in the sun on the pedestrian-only beach splashing in the Atlantic Ocean. Less than a 1/2 mile is the Daytona Beach Boardwalk and the Main Street Pier. The Daytona Convention Center is only 1 mile from this amazing resort. This unit does not have a balcony or ocean view.

The resort itself is nice, the location and amenities are phenomenal. With that being said, the add that I responded to is misleading. The pictures in the add are generic pics and the room looked nothing like the ad. The one bedroom condos DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT have ocean views or balconies. Had I known that upfront I would have stayed somewhere else. For the money that I spent I could've stayed at a resort that at least offered free breakfast. The windows in the unit faced the hallway. That was extremely misleading because the pics showed an ocean view from the bedroom. FALSE! The room itself was just ok, however the bath tub had several stains in it. The carpet has threads pulling up, the kitchen sink leaks and the rolling sweeper had a broken handle. Parking in the garage is also somewhat of an adventure. If you're not back to the property before 7pm, you'll probably have to park across the street. There's also no vending machines on the property, so stock up on drinks & snacks beforehand. Overall, I'm not 100% sure if I'd stay here again, however the location and proximity to shopping and restaurants could make me reconsider, but only if it's justified to get a larger unit with a balcony and actual ocean view instead of a hallway!!
